Givenchy's Rouge Interdit lipstick is $26.50. These cream lipsticks are almost entirely sparkle-free, though I thought I detected a twinkle in Pink Whisper, Marron Glace, and Fatal Plum.

Guerlain's Terracotta lipgloss, $26, is both beautiful and sparkly (two things I like in a gloss)... but I was turned off by the scent. It has a doe's foot applicator.

I think the first picture accurately represents the colors, but the second shows off the sparkle.

Laura Mercier's Cake Eyeliner is $20. The official name of the product is "Laura Mercier Eyeliner," but the makeup-wearing public has nicknamed it "cake" because LM also makes liquid and pencil eyeliners. Yves Saint Laurent's 4-Colour Harmony for Eyes ($52) are four-color, Mondrian-inspired eyeshadow palettes, roughly the same size as a YSL blush. There's no divider between colors, so I would definitely worry about muddying up the pattern. Palettes 4 and 5 have some sparkle to them, and I do like the plummy brown shade (C) in number 5.

MAC Lustre Twins are double-ended, Pro Longwear Lipcolor + Gloss, and the collection will be available in the U.S. on July 31. The Longwear duo idea is not new: Pro Longwear Lustres are permanent, and Pro Longwear Lipcolors are permanent to the pro line; they're all $20. What is new is (1) the lipcolors, and (2)

MAC's Starflash collection will release in the U.S. and Canada on July 31, and includes 12 eyeshadows and 4 re-promoted Kohl Power eyeliners (all $14.50). The eyeshadows feature a new, eponymous fomula, and if it's a hit, I expect MAC will make Starflash one of its permanent textures (it's kind of a creamier powder).

Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Brilliance is a click-pen lipgloss with some serious sparkle. It's $29 for .08 oz, and if I'm reading the website correctly, the formula includes mother-of-pearl. Once again, kudos to YSL for accurately depicting their product.
