Bobbi Brown’s Shimmering Nudes Palette is a collection of 7 shadows and a dual-ended eye shadow/eye liner brush for $50.
These eye shadow palettes attract quite a following — I think her Stonewashed Nudes and Chocolate palettes command ridiculous prices on ebay — but this was the first time I’d seen one in person. I was a bit surprised by the small size of the shadows. I guess (a) I’d gotten used to Bobbi’s big square eyeshadow pans, and (b) the palette is always photographed at that sexy angle, against a white background, which makes it look bigger.
Colors in the Shimmering Nudes Palette: Espresso, Nude Beach, Nude Mist, Naked, Nude Glow, Mica, Nude Spice, Espresso

>*gulp* I have to remember that I don’t like BB shadows… they seem to go dry and crepey on me. But my oh my, what a wonderful array of taupey/beigey/nude neutrality! Loves it.
>I’m not sure what to think of it either. I’m inclined to say “those colors all look the same! How would I ever distinguish them from one another?” …but don’t I buy a lot of light neutrals that probably look like this?
And it’s going to be invisible on darker skinned ladies, isn’t it?
I just managed to find a new Stonewashed Nudes palette from another blogger in the UK which I’m buying for a great price. Less than $50 Canadian! I love the shades of that palette, although this one doesn’t look all that hot. A bit too boring for me.
