Fans of MAC Frost eyeshadow will find a lot to love in Urban Decay’s eyeshadow.
Urban Decay makes three kinds of eyeshadow: matte, deluxe, and “original.” I started with the original shades, and while there were a few low-pigment duds, a few with over-the-top, insane, chunky glitter, I found a lot of pretty colors in creamy, easy-to-apply textures. I love the color of Maui Wowie, but can’t decide if the frostiness is out of my comfort zone.
The more I learn about Urban Decay, the more I respect them. It doesn’t matter to me whether a product is vegan or not, but I know it does to some, and I’m glad Urban Decay is thinking of them. UD also doesn’t test on animals. Visit Urban Decay’s website if you want to check for vegan shades.
Lounge is a plum-green duochrome, much like Shiseido’s Spring Plum Hydropowder. X is a peach/pink duochrome that can also reflect yellow. Midnight Cowboy Rides Again has crazy, large caliber glitter that goes everywhere as soon as you apply it. “Original” eyeshadow shades are $16 each.
