Without much fanfare — without any fanfare at all, actually — Chantecaille quietly created five more of their sheer, glossy Lip Chic lipsticks. One day there were suddenly 9 of the shiny, black-metal tubes on the counter.
The general consensus from those that love them is that the Lip Chics are wonderfully moisturizing, with a “heavy jelly” or “heavy balm” feeling that melts into your lips, keeping them soft and hydrated. The formula does contain collagen, meant to gently (and painlessly) firm the lips.
All of these shades can be applied sheerly; I applied heavily to best show color. Lip Chics are $30, and since Chantecaille does not have a website, the only place I know to buy them is at Neiman Marcus.
Chantecaille Lip Chics: Camellia, Camelia, Tea Rose, Tearose, Dahlia, Dalhia, Sari Rose, Sarirose, Ceylon, Damask, Geranium, Zinnia, Amaryllis

>Hi Karla,
Chantecaille seems to be scarce here in Canada, too. The only Canadian website to carry them is http://www.delineation.ca – they carry a bigger selection at the store near Yonge & Eglinton. They are quite helpful even over the phone, so if you want something not mentioned on the website, do call and ask, they just might be able to help you out. The other option is to order them from Neiman Marcus online (they ship to Canada now), but it may turn out to be a very expensive process for Canadians.
>I’ve also seen them at Saks and eLuxury. I’m lemming Dahlia now based on your swatch!
>Chantecaille does have a site, and they are in the middle of updating it:
http://www.chantecaille.com/
In the UK,you can buy Chantecaille at SpaceNK.
>Unfortunately, they’ve been “updating” it for years. It’s embarrassing for a company of their size.
I thought they had a website, too, but you’re right, Karla, it hasn’t been operable. Disappointing…
thanks for the swatches.
btw it looks like the chantecaille website is *finally* up
