Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin; Too Faced Lockdown Cream Eyeshadows

Like the Jets and the Sharks, Urban Decay and Too Faced are locked in mortal combat. I'm talking, of course, about their competing eyeshadow bases: Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion, and Too Faced's Shadow Insurance. I haven't yet compared these products head-to-head, but both companies just came out with tinted versions — cream eyeshadows that contain the primer.

Laura Mercier Metallic Creme Eye Colour

Cream eyeshadow must be having a moment — everyone seems to have a new one out. (By everyone I mean Laura Mercier, Too Faced, and Urban Decay.)

The gloss is $26, has Lancome's famous... ahem... Georgia O'Keefe applicator, and

MAC Cremeteam

I've been so focused on MAC's upcoming Hello Kitty collection that I almost missed Cremeteam, a collection of lip products — lipstick, gloss, and liner — based on MAC's Cremesheen lipsticks (a new and permanent formula, launched September of 2008. Click here for the original swatches). Cremeteam goes on sale February 5, 2009.

There are 8 Cremesheen
