If you happen to live in Dallas (or you’ll be in the area on Saturday, March 21st), Nordstrom in Northpark Mall is having its Spring Trend Show.
You do need a ticket ($15), but you’ll be able to apply that $15 toward any beauty purchase while you’re there.
The whole thing kicks off at 7:30 a.m. For people who really like getting up early on Saturdays, there will be a “Pre-Show” with raffles, rewards, and surprise vendor guests on the first floor of Nordstrom.
The Show itself is 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on the third floor — ticket holders will also get goodie bags and a bit of breakfast.
Then, anytime from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., head back down to the first floor for facials and makeovers from your favorite makeup counters. You definitely want to make an appointment in advance to guarantee that you get a spot at your favorite counter (and that you get a spot at the time you want).

And if you have a Nordstrom Rewards, you’ll also earn triple points that weekend.

>I went to the Nordstrom Trend Show in Chicago last Saturday, it’s a blast. They always give a nice bag though I didn’t get any of the prizes. In part you see is a fashion show but the talk is about cosmetics non-stop.
If you want a makeover you definitely need an appointment. All the cosmetic lines are offering great promotions (check out Laura Mercier). There are hundreds of people and total chaos. NAR’s had some great make-up artists and they made me look beautiful. I splurged on the powder foundation, the LARGE kabuki, and a blush.
If you don’t have other commitments and you love make-up, then sign up, arrive early for a good seat (more likely for a prize), and just be there.
