The Illuminating Bronze Collection is one of those shorter, in-between, summer collections from Bobbi Brown. It includes six limited edition (which, with Bobbi, means they may or may not become permanent) bronzing powders.
There are two pink shades, but Mr. X (the sales associate at the BB counter and my informant) says he feels that even those have a sort of bronzey, summery hue.
I don’t see it myself, but these powders all come in large, round compacts (much bigger than the blush pans), which I guess is why they needed a different name.
All of these have some level of shimmer (I guess that’s where “illuminating” comes in), and all the sparkles are gold.
Aruba is the blingiest; heavily swatched, it’s a solid wall of sparkly, shimmery gold tan. Maui is the next most sparkly, an almost-frosty pink with dense gold sparkle. Bali Brown is next, a terracotta (red-brown) with lots of gold sparkle. Barbados Tan is coral with fewer gold sparkles. Antigua and Bahama are the lowest-sparkle, Antigua a shy pink and Bahama a nearly matte brown.
These bronzers are $33 for .31 oz., and the bronzer used in the promotional photo is Maui.
Oh, and through Thursday, June 11, you can get 25% off your entire purchase at BobbiBrown.com (no code needed).

I bought Antiqua last week and don’t regret buying it since it’s absolutely gorgeous. In the pan in looks like a shimmery light pink blush, but ones you swipe it on (I’m MAC NW15) the color transforms into this beautiful pink/beige glow.
It’s great for fair skinned girls who have a difficult time finding a decent bronzer.
