The promo picture for Laura Mercier’s Bohemia collection says it all: sultry, bronzy, sexy. (The geographer in me wants to mention that Bohemia is a landlocked former country now part of the Czech Republic. And Bohemians were 19th century impoverished writers, artists, musicians, etc., in France who believed in free love.)
The collection includes two shimmery, limited edition eye mosaics (eyeshadow quads): Sahara Sun and Mediterranean Sea. These are each $35.
Maybe the flagship item of the collection is the Moroccan Bronze Illuminating Powder ($35), which had me at hello. It’s an illuminating powder, so it has a little bit of shimmer to it.
The collection also includes three eye kohls, repromoted from the permanent collection. Click here to see them swatched with the rest of the permanent line. These are $19 each.
And finally, Bohemia includes three lipsticks: Boho Bronze, Spiced, and Coral. The Neiman Marcus counter must have sold out of Coral and replaced the tester with Caramel, which is actually a permanent shade. I really hate it when they do that. Caramel isn’t even the same type of lipstick — the three with this collection are Shimmer Lipsticks (and they are definitely sparkly) and Caramel is a Creme. Ugh.
