Chantecaille Eyeshadow, Part 2

Welcome to day 2 of Chantecaille’s current (and paraben-free) eyeshadow offering! As I mentioned yesterday, there are 36 shades of Chantecaille eyeshadow ($28 for pots, $21 for pans), but most of the recently discontinued shades can still be found on the brand’s website, which is offering free shipping within the U.S. until August 12.
Chantecaille, eyeshadow, swatches, Peony, Perle, Opal, Shell, Sesame, Ginger, Lilac Rose, Quartz, Rose Quartz, Menthe, Lemongrass, PyriteToday’s shades are quite soft — washes, highlights, bases, etc. Peony is a matte, pale peony pink. Perle is a shimmery white with a slight purple cast. Opal is a matte, creamy, pearly white. Shell is a shimmery yellow-white or oyster-white. Sesame is matte beige, slightly pinker than Ginger. Ginger is a matte, brighter, peachier beige. Lilac Rose (one of the new shades) is softly shimmery lilac. Quartz is a shimmery soft violet. Rose Quartz (another new shade) is shimmery pink — just like the stone after which it’s named. Menthe is like mint ice cream with a slight iridescent shimmer. Lemongrass is a shimmery, yellow, apple green. Pyrite is a shimmery, really soft gold-brown.

    >Wow – those are gorgeous! I think most of them are probably too light to differentiate on my skin, but they are so pretty hehehe. I'm impressed at the variety.

I just wanted to say thank you! I recently just discovered Chantecaille and wanted to try a variety of things, but my local Nordstroms doesn’t carry it. Your posts plus their website helped me to select the right shades of eyeshadow, blush and face powder. I couldn’t have done it without you. First I was just going to get a few things, but then it was so much better than my mac that I couldn’t help myself! At least it’s all neutral so I can avoid the urge to buy constantly like I had with mac! Now I just have to figure out what to do with all my old mac makeup. So sad…
