Ms. Pedicure Foot Spahh Kit

Happy Friday, readers! I’m sure you remember the recent Ms. Pedicure Foot Spahh giveaway. Well, Emmy B. and I have bravely (and extensively) field-tested the kit, and I think we’re both really happy with the results (and I promise our review contains no pictures of feet).

The kit ($12.99) comes with 5 pedi-care products in a plastic travel bag: a pumice, a foot scrub, a leg spray, a leg massager (which Mr. Salt stole as soon as I opened the package), and a foot lotion.

The pumice is finer than the one I previously owned (and I hadn’t realized that pumices came in different grades — like sandpaper?). I’m also not sure how a coarser or finer pumice affects your foot exfoliating experience. If anyone has insight, I want to hear!

I was also a bit confused by the Exfoliating Foot Scrub: I just pumiced, what’s left to scrub? But Emmy recommended applying the creamy scrub first, and then using the pumice in conjunction.

Emmy really liked the Invigorating Leg Rub (massaged in with the massaging tool), she said it was cooling and soothing on her ankles at the end of the day.

The star of the kit, however, is unquestionably the Moisture-Rich Foot Lotion. This stuff is amazing. I hadn’t realized to what extent the state of my feet was just dryness — and after applying foot lotion at night, there was nothing to pumice the next day: my feet were cured! Emmy said, “The foot cream is some of the best I’ve tried: it sank in, didn’t leave a film, and made my feet so soft!”

In summary, if you’re looking for “the works” in terms of pampering your feet, this kit gets a thumbs-up from us. Ms. Pedicure doesn’t seem to sell the Moisture-Rich Foot Lotion by itself, but she does have a product called Moisture-Rich Intensive Heel Cream (which I suspect is the same thing, and for ~$4, that might be my next purchase when it’s time to re-buy).

    >now I just need someone to do that Leg Rub for me! So where does someone buy Ms. Pedicure?

    >I'd phone your nearest drugstore, Ulta, Target — even grocery stores. Lots of places carry the line, the question is how "deeply" they carry it.
