Bobbi Brown just released 8 new, permanent shades of Metallic Long-wear Cream Shadows, sparkly accompaniments to her regular line of Long-wear Cream Shadows. (Which subliminally got me thinking about holiday.)
These cream shadows ($22) are mostly sheer and very sparkly — they reminded me a bit of the “topcoat” shades in Dior’s Designer Quints. You could use them all over for a sheer, diamond-effect wash, or layer them over cream shadow, or smudge them over gel liner. I wouldn’t recommend trying to build them though; you may get uneven application and possible glitter fallout.
This was yet another Bobbi Brown product that didn’t quite photograph up to expectation (see figure 1, Golden Leaf eyeshadow). The shades are quite nuanced, and I was surprised that the camera didn’t pick up as much of that detail as I expected.

Bobbi Brown Metallic Cream Shadows: Chrome Patina, Brown Metal, Starry Night, Black Pearl, Starry Purple, Antique Gold, Goldstone, Mercury

>Thanks so much!! I love goldstone!!
>I love Bobbi Brown's cream eyeshadows in the pot, but I find them very difficult to apply and blend. That's a pity because there are some really amazing shades
Starry night looks a bit like Ocean storm?
