Armani just released a new formula of lipstick: Rouge d'Armani ($30). With 18 shades named in Dewey Decimal fashion, Rouge d'Armani promises full coverage and 8 hours of comfortable wear. The new lipstick also comes in a redesigned tube, with the logo on the front and a magnetic closure.

...Holiday through Bobbi Brown's eyes sure is pretty (and the model shot is one of my favorites in a long time). But when I first saw Bobbi's holiday preview book, the two items that first caught my eye were the Earth Metal Palette and the Chrome Palette.
This year's holiday collection is on a

I'm introducing a new feature today! I know sometimes arm swatches just aren't enough, so thanks to a few kind volunteer lip models, TNBTTGSY will begin incorporating lip swatches to the lineup. If you'd like to model your favorite lipsticks, glosses, and stains, send me an email!
Today's lip swatch (and review) is from the lovely glossedup:

Guerlain's holiday collection is here! Bringing peace and joy to makeup lovers everywhere.
Guerlain has imagined their holiday collection as a modern day fairy tale (that's My Fair Lady for the rest of us). The limited edition packaging is baroque and bejeweled — fit for an empress (played by Natalia Vodianova).
The collection includes several special holiday

MAC Mischief Makers officially releases November 5. The collection offers three lipgloss sets ($29.50) and three pigment sets ($32.50). I figured you probably couldn't wait to find out what was in them, so I'm making it a sneak peek.

Okay, this is the end of MAC's holiday collection.*
There are two Mineralize kits ($59.50), exclusive to freestanding MAC stores and the MAC website. Each contains a mineralize skinfinish (MSF), a mineralize blush, a mineralize eyeshadow duo, and a 181 mini kabuki brush. I think these are exciting primarily because they bring back two beloved, limited edition MSFs.

This year's offering includes the usual six-shade eye palettes with 213SE brush (warm, cool, smoky, and "other") and lip trios (each including two lipsticks and a gloss, plus a 316SE brush), but also introduces a new "face" palette. More on these beauties in a minute.

Good morning, dear readers!
I have a TON of MAC holiday swatches to show you, but since Sephora Friends and Family (20% off your purchase with code FF2009, valid only in the U.S.) kicks off today, I thought there might be several of you planning to order NARS' new foundation(s). These swatches will be a double-edged sword, however, because Sephora

The "Show Me Your Arms" contest has ended, and I couldn't have been more delighted with the entries. After much debate, I did finally choose a winner:
For as long as people have been wearing foundation and concealer, people have been pondering which comes first.
Let me back this story up: I don’t always wear foundation (lazy). Which raises another question: which comes first, makeup (shadow, liner) or concealer? I always thought the answer was concealer. I’ve got a lot of color around my eyes
