Okay, this is the end of MAC’s holiday collection.*
There are two Mineralize kits ($59.50), exclusive to freestanding MAC stores and the MAC website. Each contains a mineralize skinfinish (MSF), a mineralize blush, a mineralize eyeshadow duo, and a 181 mini kabuki brush. I think these are exciting primarily because they bring back two beloved, limited edition MSFs.
The Pinkzapoppin! kit includes Light Flush MSF (a subtle pink-gold highlight), Dainty blush (delicate peachy pink), and Love Connection eyeshadow (shimmery pale pink and shimmery gold-peach tan).
Fun in the Sun contains Shimpagne MSF (champagne), Nuance blush (peach with gold sparkle), and Play on Plums eyeshadow (shimmery peach and frosty burgundy).
Since Light Flush and Shimpagne have gone for between $40 and $60 on ebay, this is the perfect time to buy a guaranteed-real, fresh, new product (and get some extra stuff in the bargain). But Shimpagne looks really similar to Soft & Gentle to me. Maybe Shimpagne is a little peachier, and Soft & Gentle is more beige.
There’s also a Nordstrom-exclusive kit called Love’s Divine Lash. For $48 you’ll get a pair of #7 lashes, Rapidblack Penultimate liner, Teal Reflects Transparent Glitter (it looks white and flashes teal; Nordstrom didn’t have their tester yet), a mini Zoomlash mascara, and a keepsake bag.
*Until Mischief Makers (the mini sets) and Baroque and On the Street Baroque Boudoir come out.
