I felt like Pink had gotten short shrift with those cloudy-day photos, so I reswatched in better light. As an added bonus, I used a different set of testers at another counter, and the unmolested Very Violet and Lala definitely performed better.
These four shadows are sold individually in pots (Da Bling is permanent, so if you love it, time is on your side). The Crush Metal pigments are sold in a set — you’ll get four stackable jars for $32.50 (and I imagine there are a good number of makeup lovers pining for that dark purple). I’d say these Crush Metal pigments perform most like Solar Bits. You can see they swatched pretty well without a base, but I think you’d want a base for actual application.
I kind of like Phlox, though I wonder if it will be invisible on my lips. I like Laugh a Lot, too. That shade is actually a repromote, but I haven’t identified its original collection. Cultureclash (repromote) has silver sparkles; Electric Fuchsia has some serious blue sparkle. Hush, Hush Rose is sparkly too, but not at the level of the other two.
