The next big thing to be hitting your Bobbi Brown counter? It’s a collection called Color Strips. (And don’t tell anyone I told you, but it’s already online at Nordstrom.com).
Bobbi must love the design of her dual-folding lip-and-eye palettes. We saw them first for holiday, again for the corals collection, and now Color Strips introduces three limited edition palettes, each featuring 5 eyeshadows and 3 Pot Rouges for lip and cheek. Each palette is $60, and they’re all limited edition.
Orchid features eyeshadows in White, Dusty Plum Metallic, Orchid Sparkle, Mulberry, and Caviar; and Pot Rouges Sand Pink, Pale Pink, and Powder Pink.
Aquamarine features eyeshadows in Lightning Sparkle, Aquamarine Metallic, Storm, Ivory, and Grey Sky; and the same three Pot Rouges — Sand Pink, Pale Pink and Powder Pink.
Bonfire (ooh) features eyeshadows in Bone, Cafe Cream Sparkle, Cognac Metallic, Bonfire Metallic, and Caviar; the Pot Rouges are Fresh Melon, Tawny, and Calypso Coral.
Wow, Bobbi Brown palettes of blues and purples?? I am really, really tempted here!
Is it just me or are the pot rouges poorly coordinated with the eyeshadows? Although the eyeshadow strips are beautifully put together, except for Bonfire, they don’t seem to go with all three pot rouge selections. Hmmm. . . perhaps these will look better when I see them in person.

In Singapore we have one more – Petal color strip. No specs of the colors but they are mostly shades of grey plus one muted rose pink in the middle. for the pot rouge strips it is the same, one is fresh coral the other one is fresh pink.
