Giveaway: Lancome Matte Lipstick

Lancome recently released 8 shades of their new, moisturizing Color Design Matte lipstick, and I think they’re pretty fabulous. (See swatches here.)

So when Lancome asked me if I’d like to give a set away, I jumped at the chance. This week’s giveaway will have two winners, who will each receive 4 lipsticks. I will try to accommodate the shade preferences of the winners.

Here’s how it works:

  • This giveaway starts today and ends on Sunday, March 28, at midnight.
  • You can enter once per day. (If you enter more than once per day, only the first entry will be counted.)
  • This giveaway is open to readers anywhere in the world.
  • A winner will be selected at random from the valid entries.
  • To enter, leave a comment on this post, and tell me a beauty tip, trick, or secret.

Winners will be contacted by email, so please use an email address you check (addresses will be hidden, and will not be used for any purpose other than contacting the winner).

Good luck!

To make a powder blush show up more, use a cream blush underneath. You’ll get much more color and intensity.

For brighter and more “awake” looking eyes, dab a tiny amount of white eyeshadow to the inside corners of the eye.
    Instant fresh and awake look!!

I use an epilator from qvc on my face, jawline to remove peach-fuzz! removing peach-fuzz make-up looks better, especially in the sunlight! i do it every 2 days to maintain!

Prior to using a matte lipstick I have learned a few tricks that will help to smooth lips prior to application:
    1) use basic granulated sugar with a drop of olive oil and scub lips…this will remove any excess dry skin & moisturize at the same time…plus no bad taste
    2) use your toothbrush to gently scrub lips, go gently and this will work well to remove any dry flaky skin
    3) for very dry flaky lips use a thick coating of Vaseline about a half hour (or more) prior to using the lipstick. Let it sit on the lips as long as possible then wipe off and use your finger or any of the above suggestions to remove the softened dry skin
The matte lipstick should go on as smooth as silk. For more staying power…apply the lipstick and leave on for 10 mins or so, wipe off and lightly reapply. This will make your lipstick last all night!! Plus if any does wear off you have a beautiful stain that will keep your lips gorgeous!!
