In a stroke of marketing genius, Liberty of London collections have launched concurrently at both MAC and Target (are you excited? I was begging the Target employees for a sneak peek on Saturday). Anyway, in the spirit of all this patterny goodness, this week’s giveaway is a little more freewheeling than usual.
The winner will receive up to $40 of Liberty of London stuff. They might choose a beauty powder and a nail polish; a blush and a lipstick; two blushes — you get the idea. Once a winner has been randomly selected, that person and I will discuss the specifics of their prize.
Here’s how it works:
- This giveaway starts today and ends on Sunday, March 21, at midnight.
- You can enter once per day. (If you enter more than once per day, only the first entry will be counted.)
- This giveaway is open to readers anywhere in the world.
- A winner will be selected at random from the valid entries.
To enter, leave a comment on this post, and tell me: if you could magically transport to another country for 24 hours, for the sole purpose of buying makeup, which country would you choose to visit, and what would you buy there?
Winners will be contacted by email, so please use an email address you check (addresses will be hidden, and will not be used for any purpose other than contacting the winner).
Good luck!

usa ..always..
The US, because there are Sephora, Target, Walgreens etc. and the prices are so low!
US because of the sheer number of brands available.
UK for jemma kidd, barry m
The UK for Barry M and Gosh for sure!
Since this is a hypothetical question, I’m guessing I could be a millionaire and have crazy amount to spend, having said that I would go to Paris and go crazy.
But if i didn’t have $$$ I would go to Hong Kong, I hear shopping is amazing there
France ..France..France
The US. I would buy Edward Bess, Paul and Joe and Illamasqua, maybe some D&G
The USA for drug stores, OPI, Philosophy, NARS, D&G and many more!
Usa, a lot of brands, products and cheap prices ( compared to spain)
I would travel to US because the prices are cheaper than in my country (Spain). I would buy MAC, Urban decay, Benefit…
Japan– to try all their drugstore makeup!
And finally today I’d go to Vegas, because I love the city (and the products you can find there, of course)
I would love to go to Italy. The culture is rich. I am a food lover, so could eat extremely well.
USA!!!! I’d love to get my hands on some Laura Mercier, Nars, Bobbi Brown and MAC Pro stuff!!!
I would go to Italy.
JAPAN!!!
I’d go the USA for the brands and prices
Hong Kong
Definitely NY. MAC is so expensive here, I’d love to buy more things! Oh and I would like to buy some Inglot stuff too!
Italy
Italy for PUPA
Japan!
South Korea!
to buy lots of pretty things with cute packaging <3
I would go to the UK for Illamasqua!
USA – to load up on everything; things are so expensive in Canada and the selection of products that we do have is disappointing.
I would go to Taiwan to stock up on their lovely drugstore brands (Lavshuca, Kate, Tiffa etc.)
i would also travel to japan for makeup!
And finally, I will stick with the UK as we have so many great brands here incl. Urban Decay, Mac and Guerlain.
USA and wisite Sephora and MAC pro!
If travelling purposefully for makeup, then I would go to the USA because of the wide selection – I would buy Paul & Joe’s Alice in Wonderland collection (dying to try this), Milani drugstore products (want to try the liquidlast eyeliner dupes), NYX Cream blush Stila lipsticks, an Urban Decay Primer potion and eyeliners, essie nailpolish, zoe nailpolish in fresh spring colours (which I can’t buy overseas because no one wants to ship nailpolish), smashbox eyeliner. Burt’s Bees cuticle butter. Benefit Boing Undereye concealer. REN Facial serum. MAC’s creme cup l/s, Blooming Lovely lipstick and funtabulous dazzleglass. Im actually dying to try the entire MAC Liberty of London collection and keep calling my MAC store everyday to find out if its been released. I have a long list…=)
USA, because MAC and OPI is much cheaper there than here in Germany
I would go to the UK to get all the UK brands, visit super drug, and stock up on everything!
The USA because i could buy tons of OPI, Benefit, Urban Decay, Philosophy (eventhough thats skincare), NYX, Milani,Stila,…i could go on and on ^^
To the US for sure, I would love to try some drugstore products, go to MAC PRO,Laura Mercier, etc…
I’d go to the USA for sure. For most because of the cheaper prices ! I’d go to a MAC pro store and empty my wallet and bankaccount !
HK for Anna sui cosmetics and exclusive asian only items
NY- shu, D&G
I’d go directly to the USA and stock on as many polishes as I could, in every colour and every texture possible! Then I’d be arrested at customs for trafficking because of my huge, enormous suitcase filled with polishes and go back empty-handed to Spain, where I’d have to start buying very expensive polishes again, which would ruin me and prevent me from ever going back to the USA for my polishes. Whatever.
USA, because MAC and OPI is much cheaper there than here in Belgium
I’d love to go to Paris – I just find the surroundings and the style of everyday women there so inspiring, and they also have a nice selection of makeup (sometimes quite affordable too, based on my experience)
the states, for all the makeup brands i do not get here in Singapore, and for cheaper MAC even though we have it here
Tokio, loove all the kawaii japanese brands ^^
I would definitely go to London, not only because of the amazing stores, such as Top Shop and the amazing Harrods, but also for the Barry M, Bourjois ( I know its a French brand, but I think the selection in London is better), and just for the all around European atmosphere.
U.K. for Barry M
Definitely the UK so I could check out Boots.
UK for Barry M cheap!!!
Majolica Majorca, Lavshuca in JAPAN oh man.
France!
Still the US *LOL* I want to go to Ulta!
