At Yves Saint Laurent, the eyes have it. YSL has just released three new eye products, and to celebrate, they’re offering free shipping on any order containing an eye product, through 3/28 (this Sunday) — use code EYES10.
As for what’s new, they’ve reformulated their eyeshadow singles (Ombre Solo, $30).

They’ve also released their famous Faux Cils mascara in a new blacker-than-ever shade called Noir Radical ($30).
And finally, they’ve reformulated their eyeliners (Dessin Du Regard Crayon Yeux Haute Tenue, $28). The website says the new formula is
highly pigmented for a deep impact and long-lasting finish. The texture glides onto the skin effortlessly, and Jojoba Oil makes the finish on the skin smooth and comfortable. A wax adhesive acts as a fixing agent to reinforce the intensity of the pigment for hours. With its blending tip and soft, silky texture, the pencil allows you to achieve multiple effects: from precise lines to blurred shadow, or a kohl effect.
This sounds like a very good thing. I haven’t used a YSL eye pencil in a while, but if I recall correctly, the old black was quite black — but didn’t last. And the non-black shades were a little hard and not extremely pigmented.

Aww, I wish there were some warm brown shades among the eye shadows and liners.
The Cashmere Brown shadow and the Leather Brown liner are both calling to me!
These are now up on Nordstrom online–I’m very curious about Persian Blue and Smoky Gray!
