Guest Swatcher: Sephora by OPI Read My Palm

Soaper1 is single-handedly turning me into a green-fiend. Check out her fab swatches and review of the latest from OPI-for-Sephora’s seasonal collection:

Read My Palm is part of the Havana Nights collection — the other polishes in the collection are: Caliente Coral (spicy orange), Rumba Romance (bronze shimmer), Teal We Meet Again (shimmering deep blue green), Caribbean Cocktail (ocean blue with silver shimmer), and Havana Dreams (pale sky blue). The polishes are $9 each and available exclusively at Sephora stores and sephora.com.

I almost didn’t order this polish. I have so many green nail polishes and it appeared to be similar to others I have. However, to say this is my new favorite green is an understatement — I love this color. While it’s very, very unlikely that I would ever use up an entire bottle of polish, I’m getting a backup of this (and that’s something I never do).

Sephora describes Read My Palm as a light jade green; I’d call it vintage green. It’s a gorgeous creme and it applied beautifully. I applied 3 coats and 1 coat of SV. Unlike my other Sephora by OPI polishes, this one is a little thick. I’m going to thin it before I use it again.

    oooooooooo, what a lovely shade

  • there are so many brands making this colour after chanel did it. so i guess there is no point to pursue the hard to find chanel jade as it’s an LE and is selling (still?) at a crazy price. anyway, this is a pretty good dupe as far as I can see. good score!

hahaha, I feel the same about buying one more green nail polish, but I couldn’t resist buying this one. It’s such a pretty green color…
