YSL’s summer collection is online and hitting counters. I’m hoping to swatch it soon, but I thought we could drool over the product listings now.
There are two new water-resistant cream eyeshadows — one permanent shade and one limited edition. The limited edition “Fard Lumiere Aquaresistant” is #19 Riviera Blue. The permanent shade is #5 Golden Sands. Both are $30.
There are two new (deliciously named), limited edition, sheer Rouge Pure Shine lipsticks: #93 Pink Lychee and #94 Blood Orange. Remember that YSL lip products are always mango-scented, but if you dislike the fragrance, you can de-scent your lipsticks by leaving the caps off for ~2 days. The lipsticks are $30 each.
There are also two new, limited edition nail polishes ($20): #142 Ultra Orange, and #42 Ultra Violet.
I’m almost more excited about the new, permanent edition items than I am about the limited ones.
There’s a new, permanent bronzer, Terre Saharienne. It is $50 and comes in three shades: #1 Sand, #2 Copper Sand, and #3 Golden Sand. I’m wondering if the product is sparkly, since the website refers to “sun radiance” pigments.
Summer brings a new shade of water-resistant mascara, #7 Blue Lagoon ($30). There are also four new shades of Gloss Pur (YES!): #7 Pure Sorbet, #8 Pure Watermelon, #9 Pure Hibiscus, #10 Pure Redcurrant. I could absolutely fall in love on name alone.
I think the collection also repromotes Touche Eclat #3 ($40), one of the new eyeshadows, Ombre Solo #6 Pink Nude ($30), and eyeliners Dessin Du Regard #3 Oriental Blue and #6 Hazelnut Brown (both $28).

Ooooooh, new Gloss Pur colors. Depending on the swatches and my monetary situation, I may splurge for some of this collection. YSL has become a weakness of mine.
