I’ve read all patricia cornwells books, and the main character, Kay Scarpetta, would wear estee lauder.
I’m in :’D
I imagine … Hermione granger from Harry Potter wearing chanel make-up (:
cause she’s so smart & classy !
The last book I read is “A Match Made in Madison” (it’s summer, don’t judge!)- Vanessa Carlson seems like a professional but fun personality: I think equal parts Clinique and MAC makeup
)
Daisy from the Great Gatsby, lots of powder and “rouge” haha!
I imagine Guinevere (from Bernard Cornwell’s Warlord Chronicles) wearing Illamasqua.
georgie from what i did for love by susan elizabeth phillips, wearing benifit! quick and easy!
Just had an image of Helena Bonham Cater as Bellatrix Lestrange (Harry Potter) wearing Illamasqua
For some reason I imagine Alice from Alice in Wonderland to be wearing benefit lol

I imagine Jessica Ford from Pursuit wearing clinique lip gloss.
I imagine Lisbeth Salander from the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo would wear Kat von D or Urban Decay if she wore any makeup at all.
The Devil wears Prada: Andrea starts the book wearing chapstick and maybelline, and ends it using La Mer religiously twice a day, with a Chantecaille face and Chanel lips (Rouge Allure in “Chic”).

Oscar wilde (pick a book) wearing MAC lipcolor
I could definitely see Aria from Wanted wearing either Kat Von D or Urban Decay
Rebecca from “Confessions of a shopaholic” would certainly wear the so fashionable DIOR make-up and Miss Dior perfume.

I see Anastasia from the Sam and Anastasia books trying out bonne bell or wet n wild since she would just start wearing make up and playing around with it.
Well I have a toddler so in Goodnight Moon I see the character “old lady who is whipering hush” wearing a bright red revlon lipstick.
Blair Waldorf from the Gossip Girl book series is most definitely wearing Chanel.
Claudia Kishi in the BSC books is totally a Ben Nye girl. I would say MUFE but please, have you read the books?! She is not bringing in the big bucks watching Jackie Rodowsky!
Is it weird that when you said “a character from a book” the first thing i think of is Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter (yes he is one of my fav charas LOL) and while maybe not makeup, I can totally see him pimping with skincare and hair products?
Maybe Dior or Chanel skincare…that is, the Wizarding branches of Dior and Chanel! LOL
Sookie Stackhouse wears Cover Girl and Bonnie Bell lipsmackers in my imagination.
Claire Danner Crispin from “A Summer Affair” by Elin Hilderbrand
I imagine her wearing Clinique makeup and using their skin care.
Pocahondas would be wearing make up products by the Body Shop for sure!
Milly, the main character’s daughter in Our Man in Havana, would probably wear Lancôme and Chanel products.
Emma Woodhouse from Jane Austen’s “Emma” would wear MAC because she lived a priviledged life.

Miranda Priestly, from the devil wears prada.. wearing viva glam from cindy..
I think Constance, Lady Chatterley, would start the book wearing Laura Mercier or Chantecaille to suit her aristocrat husband then evolve into wearing just blackberry juice on her lips.
I just read Gone with the Wind, so I imagine if Scarlett O’Hara lived today… she would wear Chanel
You KNOW that the girls from Beauxbatons in the Harry Potter books were each issued subtle, coordinating tubes of Rouge Coco the day that stuff came out. And Madame Maxime regularly visits the Chanel counter…although she has a secret fondness for Urban Decay that she’d NEVER admit.
the vampires from Twilight definitely wear Illamasqua!
I imagine Galadriel from The Lord of The Rings wearing Middle Earth’s version of Guerlain. But of course it’s all elf-made and magical and not really equivalent…
The Tin Man from Wizard of Oz wears Cinema Secrets =]
alice alice in wonder land paul & joe
I imagine Charlotte (Charlotte’s Web) wearing Makeup Forever.
I imagine Pippy longstocking rocking colours from the hard candy line. They are a bit more edgier colors but still allow you to show your feminine side easily if that’s what you enjoy doing.
I imagine Rose from In Her Shoes using Kiehl’s skincare and Bobbi Brown makeup (if any at all).
Andrea Sachs, from “The Devil Wears Prada” would wear no fuss makeup, like Clinique and Neutrogena. Very subtle, and of course Miranda Priestly snickers and Sachs’ minimum makeup look.

Scarlett O’hara would wear a classic red Chanel lipstick!
I imagine Alice from Alice in Wonderland to be wearing MAC limited collection.
Sophie-Anne, the Queen of Louisiana in the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris, would wear Guerlain. She is fancy and feminine with a high-powered, brutal all-business edge.
Elphaba from Wicked would have her own MAC collection – of course there would be tons of green.
Lafayette from the Sookie Stackhouse series-he would dream of wearing MAC, but would actually wear Maybelline as it’s all he can get his hands on in Bon Temps
