Giveaway: Smashbox Halo Yellow Color-Correcting Powder

This week’s prize is Smashbox’s Halo Yellow Color Correcting Hydrating Powder, a yellow powder designed to tone down facial redness. It’s also oil-, talc-, and paraben-free.

Here’s how it works:

  • This giveaway starts today and ends Sunday, June 20, at midnight.
  • You can enter once per day. (If you enter more than once per day, only the first entry will be counted.)
  • This giveaway is open to readers anywhere in the world.
  • A winner will be selected at random from the valid entries.
  • To enter, leave a comment on this post, and tell me a character from a book (any book), and what brand of makeup you imagine that character wearing.
  • Winners will be contacted by email, so please use an email address you check (addresses will be hidden, and will not be used for any purpose other than contacting the winner).

    The last book I read is “A Match Made in Madison” (it’s summer, don’t judge!)- Vanessa Carlson seems like a professional but fun personality: I think equal parts Clinique and MAC makeup :o )

    Is it weird that when you said “a character from a book” the first thing i think of is Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter (yes he is one of my fav charas LOL) and while maybe not makeup, I can totally see him pimping with skincare and hair products? :P Maybe Dior or Chanel skincare…that is, the Wizarding branches of Dior and Chanel! LOL

    You KNOW that the girls from Beauxbatons in the Harry Potter books were each issued subtle, coordinating tubes of Rouge Coco the day that stuff came out. And Madame Maxime regularly visits the Chanel counter…although she has a secret fondness for Urban Decay that she’d NEVER admit.
