Benefit Scene Queen Giveaway

I was swatching Benefit’s new palettes this weekend (Scene Queen and Sunday Fun Day) — they’re limited edition, exclusive to Sephora, and each one is the creation of one of Benefit’s new Makeup Trend Artists.

Anyway, I decided to give away Scene Queen (because I love Coralista so much). This $38 palette contains pretty much everything but foundation.

Rules and how to enter:

  • This giveaway starts today and ends Sunday, August 1, at midnight.
  • This giveaway is open to readers anywhere in the world.
  • A winner will be selected at random from the valid entries.
  • To enter, leave a comment on this post. Imagine you are creating your own makeup line and tell me, what would you name it? Also please tell me one item from your line. You can enter by this method once per day (so you can invent a new product for each day of the week). Feel free to get as creative and detailed.
  • You can earn as many extra entries as you want. To earn an extra entry, write a review of a Benefit product for KarlaSugar-Interact. Leave a comment with a link to your review.
    • Only new reviews (written this week) are valid; previously written Benefit reviews are not eligible for extra entries.
  • Winners will be contacted by email, so please use an email address you check (addresses will be hidden, and will not be used for any purpose other than contacting the winner).

Good luck!

  • Kat says:

Hot Flash Cosmetics, with a bright red lipstick called “Heat Wave” haha

  • Nicole says:

Still within my Reverie range, I’d try and create pencil eyeliners that actually stayed on people’s waterlines! :)

  • ter says:

My line would be called Mask. Some of the products would be….a foundation called Hidden, a wrinkle cream called Yeah I’m Old…Prove It,& an undereye concealer called My Hubby’s Snoring Had Me Up All Night!

  • LNU says:

My second product from my makeup line Natural Beauty would be a shimmery, metallic, copper eyeshadow called Bronze Age.

  • Daniela says:

within my colors of the world line i would bring you a wonderful eyelid primer. it would keep your lids moisturized without creasing of the eyeshadow. it would also have absolute blendability.

My line would be called “In” and a second product that I would have would be called Whale Song and it would be a deep teal eyeliner, almost black but with hints of teal. It would be available in pencil liner form or gel liner form.

  • Alexandra Z. says:

So I’m back today with my second product from the AM Beauty cosmetics line :)

This time it’s about lips and I’m thinking about a lipgloss line, that will give not only shine, but color too, and it will contain iridescent colorful glitters! :)

  • Heather says:

Hepkitten…it would have a retro vibe, and the line would be known for having the *perfect* red lipstick for everyone!

  • Shannon says:

Ephemris! I guess beauty to me is rather ephemeral – not really long lasting. But with cosmetics and especially skincare, we CAN keep it longer and stay beautiful. And i believe I want to focus on creating a healthy/good for your skin kind of cosmetic line. I know there are a lot of those already, though, but considering i’m not actually a science major, it’s really hard to tell with all the science mumbo jumbo. if i create this line, i’d def want to keep track of it myself and study a lot so that I KNOW my line is better for the skin.

  • hofken says:

I would name my makeup line Fabulous Fifties and include foundation that conceals both wrinkles and menopause acne.

  • Stephanie says:

I would name my line Cateye and one of our products would be a very dark black mascara that lengthens like no other.

  • Lisa says:

It’s so hard to decide what I would name a makeup line! I would probably use a foreign word, but I can’t think of a good one now.

  • veronica says:

My line would be called Refresh Beauty and it would efinitely offer an oil blot mask that can be applied over makeup. It would cater to hot/humid temperatures. hopw i win!!!!!

  • somewings says:

I would call my makeup line Flower, because a flower is what you want yoir face to look like when you put on your makeup : fresh, delicate and colorful.
One item would actually be a series of items, namely a few eyeshadows which would be the perfect green-blues, the perfect grey-blues and the perfect purple blues… in short, mixed blues.

  • Allie says:

Hmmm, another item for Life of the Funeral would be a true red, maybe a touch darker, lipstick called Folie a Deux. Named after Fall Out Boy’s latest album. Can you tell I have a love of music yet?

  • Camille says:

Another product from my line Belladonna would be this beautiful neutral blush designed to work on all skintones. The shade would be called «Around the Universe».

  • Francesca Azevedo says:

  • Kitty says:

OMG Ever since I was young, I wanted to create a makeup brand called Enhancement containing a line of lipglosses called “Emotigloss”. The shades are named after different emotions: Happy (orangey coral), Shy (pale pink), Mellow (nude beige), Aroused (LOL a deep red of course!), Upbeat (shimmery bright fuchsia), and Reflective (clear gloss with glitter).

  • Liz says:

Sfill Got It cosmetics, featuring Smooth & Even tinted moisturiser with SPF.

  • Judy says:

Hmmm another item in my Spectacle makeup line would be a cute little tinted lipstick that has a lip gloss finish (without the stickiness and coated feeling of a lip gloss!), in all the pretty shades of pink and red~

  • clementine says:

mythology back with… Hmmm. A deep, pigmented purple shadow called Ariadne.

  • Michelle says:

My line will be called Misterie and i’ll do a blush cos blushes are my favourite!!

  • Lena N. says:

I would call my line Art Attack and I would have packaging inspired from famous paintings on the cover. A limited edition Highlighter could include the representation in several colours of one famous painting e.g. Starry Night.

  • lexi920 says:

My line would be named after my daughter, “Gabi C” and I thought of a new product. An undereye concealor that masks all severe under eye circles. I would call it “MAMA” since my under eye circles have gotten darker after my daughter was born – 2yrs ago! hahahaha

  • Stephanie says:

The next product from my line called “Cateye” would be a dark black liquid liner that would make any cateye look effortless.

  • Sally says:

I would love my own make up line! I would call it “Momi” which is Hawaiian for pearl.
My first product would be a highlighter made with real pearls integrated in the formula. All the packaging for every product will be silver cast and delicate with mother of pearl covering in the swirling gaps of the silver. Luxurious products for the lavishing ladies!
    Good luck to everyone !

Since I have a fairly interesting name I think I would actually just name it Aimee, but with the original French accent (even though I’m not French!)
