Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow, part 3

We’re 3/4 of the way through Bobbi’s “regular” eyeshadows — the matte/satin shades that earn her “Eye Shadow” designation. (We also have to check out her Shimmerwash and Metallic shadows.) And I’ve been loving the texture, formula, and range of totally delicious neutrals to choose from.

Bobbi’s eyeshadows are $20, and her blushes and eyeshadows are packaged in the same pans and compacts (so you can mix and match your own custom palette).
Bobbi Brown, eyeshadow, swatches, Cement, Wheat, Espresso, Woodrose, Tan, Chocolate, Baby Pink, Ivory, Navajo, Naked, KarlaSugar, Karla Sugar
Particular favorites from this group include grey-brown Cement (of course!), beige-tan Wheat, near-black Espresso, pinky beige Woodrose, Chocolate…  oh, I like them all.

Naked is an amazing color, really makes my green eyes pop, esp. when paired with Velvet Plum. What I find particularly interesting is the effect of the colors on the eyelid; looking at swatches of her eye colors, or even at the color in the pan, is often not very impressive, but put it on and wonderful things happen :)

I agree with Susan. You have to try these shades on. The magic happens when the colors are paired with your eye and hair color. Her pigment choices are genius. Once you begin to play, you’ll realize those two “browns” that look similar achieve completely different results on different skin tones. They just make you look pretty but you.
