Sad that I can’t find it here, then hit with a double whammy when I can’t find it online either. Emailed Bourjois to find out if it’s been discontinued and I never got a reply.

Another very early purchase would have been some Clinique skincare (the 3-step-system) or maybe it was Origins Checks and Balances cleanser…I’m not sure which.
my first purchase is maybelline clear n smooth powder in natural. i really glad that maybelline has such a nice product since a powder which long last usually clog the pores. but its different with this. its very lightweight, nice coverage, matte, n control my sebum nicely

when i was 8ish…someone gave me a barbie lipstick because i loooove barbie and ever since then i can’t stop buying makeup! omg when mac came out with barbie loves mac collection i almost bought EVERYTHING! it just remind me of my childhood lol THE BEGINNING OF MY OBSESSION!
The first makeup purchase I remember was a Maybelline lipstick in the shade Mocchachino, and it looked awful on me.

When I was around 10 I bought an all-inclusive palette: Eyeshadow, lipstick, rouge, a mini mascara. It was market down to 2 bucks and the quality and colors were horrible. *g* Never the less, I loved experimenting with it whenever my parents were gone
I remember getting a Lipsmakers set as a stocking stuffer for Christmas years ago. It’s so funny because now that I have my own children I did the same thing for them. Thanks for the great giveaway

Another one of my first purchases was a brownish- terracota like blush from a brand that does not exist anymore lol! I used to wear it with a yellow – mustard like sweater and it looked great

OK, as embarrassing as this sounds… my first purchase was from the Lancome counter at Macy’s in White Plains, NY and it was BLUE eyeshadow… in my defense, it was 1982 or 1983
My earliest purchase was a lipstick by Yves Rocher.
Another of my earliest purchase is Clinique glosswear in Air Kiss. I loved it so much that i got a backup. Didn’t know what i was thinking because it’s basically almost like a clear lipgloss.
My first purchase was Covergirl lash blast =D And now I’m a makeup junkie/addict lol

I remember using Noxzema Cleansing Cream when I would go to my grandmother’s house. I’d coat my face and “lounge” in the tub. It felt so tingly.
My first makeup purchase was Bare Minerals. My mom actually encouraged me to wear makeup in junior high because my skin was so bad.
Much better now, but I still use Bare Minerals.
The earliest cosmetic purchase would have to include one of those cheapo eyeshadow trios from some generic brand at the dollar store. The palette was in the shape of a cellphone lol. I’ve come a long way since then.
I bought a mascara with my mom when i was 13, we spoke to the clerk for like an hour, she shared tips and suggestions on what i could use

My first makeup purchase was a Jordana tinted lip balm that I bought from the mall back in 1996 when I was in the 7th grade. It was cherry and left a GREAT red/dark pink shine on my lips… plus it wasn’t sticky. I remember having to hide it in my drawer at home and sneak it on after I went to school because my mom would not let me wear any makeup yet LOL I wish I could find that lip balm again, it was great

Just went to the nordstrom and got the lady gaga lipstick, and s mineralize blush in the color gleeful!! Love them all!!

The last early beauty/cosmetic item I remember strongly is the Clairol Nice ‘N Easy light blonde hair-color my mom got me just before I went back to school. I’d just finished my 1st summer swimming A.A.U., & by September, my naturally blonde hair had turned mint green.
The hair-color didn’t really work… but I got to go for my 1st salon treatment to fix it!, so it was worth it.
