Actress Zoe Saldana (of Avatar) partnered with Avon to create a really pretty fragrance called Eternal Magic. It’s a “floral woody” inspired by the Princess Monaco Rose.
According to Avon, the notes are:
Top: Sheer Violet, Sicilian Bergamot, Pink Peppercorn
Heart: Princess Monaco Rose, Orris, Magnolia Leaves
Base: Creamy Vanilla Warmth, Transparent Woods, Fluffy Cloud Accord
I searched the whole internet trying to find out what “fluffy cloud accord” is. The internet doesn’t know.
On first spritz, Eternal Magic is bright. I smell the peppercorns, the violet and rose right away. It mellows as it dries down, and I think the vanilla and violet really warm up the rose (and keep it modern). It is a rose-dominant scent.
The Eau de Toilette is $24 (50 ml); the shower gel and lotion are both $10 (200 ml), but right now they’re on sale for $5.99 on Avon’s website.
