Sebastian Hair Care Giveaway

Sebastian, WellaI attended the Wella Professionals Color Tour event in Dallas last week and had a lot of fun. Not only did they give away a $200 salon gift card to a KarlaSugar.net reader AT the event, but they graciously offered to sponsor this week’s giveaway (for anyone who couldn’t be there, but wanted to). Awesome!

The prize is a Sebastian haircare kit, which includes Volupt shampoo, Volupt conditioner, Volupt gel, and a hair accessories bag.

There’s just one catch: Wella can only mail this prize within the U.S. We’ll do the giveaway like normal: any reader in any country is welcome to enter. If the randomly selected winner is not in the U.S., that winner will receive some other prize (to be discussed between me and them), and a second, U.S. winner will be randomly selected.

Rules and how to enter:

  • This giveaway starts today and ends Sunday, August 8, at midnight.
  • This giveaway is open to readers anywhere in the world.
  • A winner will be selected at random from the valid entries.
  • To enter, leave a comment on this post. Tell me one thing that gives you a good hair day (it can be a product, a tool, atmospheric conditions, the alignment of the planets… whatever works for you).
  • You can enter once per day. (If you enter more than once per day, only the first entry will be counted.)
  • Winners will be contacted by email, so please use an email address you check (addresses will be hidden, and will not be used for any purpose other than contacting the winner).

Good luck!

Random acts of nature where the atmosphere must be at the right level of humidity (or it could just be the way I slept that night) seems to give me nice hair some days.

  • onegreatsmile says:

If I’m letting my hair dry curly, I try not to touch it. AT.ALL. It reduces frizz, and makes perfect sausage curls ~~~~~if I’ve used the right product (which changes all the time, as they seem to stop working!!!!My favorite was discontinued. BOO.) I’ve tried with silicone, without silicone, sulfate free, curl enhancing you name it. I’ll try ANYTHING!

  • Elaina says:

Low humidity gives me a good hair day! High humidity makes my hair go crazy frizzy!!!

  • Tina says:

My hair always looks good after using a deep conditioner like the 3 minute miracle by aussie :)

  • Airess says:

Two things that are guaranteed to give me a good hair day would be my leave in conditioner and my all natural light hold curl defining gel. I have naturally curl hair thats definitely prone to frizzing and I need to retain the moisture so a good day outside thats not so humid also helps with my good hair days.

would have to be alignment of the planets…i never know when a good hair day is going to happen but am grateful when it does!

good hair days are when their not many flyaways! usually the second day i wash my hair!

  • Laura J says:

I get a better hair day when I remember to blow dry my bangs right after I shower, when they’re still soaking wet. I get a good hair day when I get my hair done by a pro. Otherwise, it seems hit & miss recently

  • Jess says:

Luck + a lil bit of mousse to give my curls a boost.

  • Ruby Cavallo says:

I always have a good hair day when I wash my hair in a natural artesian well water. I live in the country and my water is great! It would look even better with some of your shampoo.

  • Shannon says:

i have good hair day when i go to the salon to get a haircut. I come out with my “good hair day” hair. :P but in general i guess i have better hairday when i just came out of the shower, ’cause then my hair isn’t so flattened down from sleeping on it (i shower at night normally). unfortunately it does frizz up, but i’ve always been way too lazy to really put products in

  • dana h. says:

I have good hair days when I can just roll out of bed, take my hair out of the messy ponytail I put it in, and it looks amazing. It rarely happens, but when it does, its literally a miracle, shaves like 30min off my morning :)

  • Eve says:

i braid my hair before I sleep. it comes out less frizzy

  • Mary says:

A good hair day = my Conair Hot Rollers.

  • santi! says:

believe it or not, a pair of drum sticks [i play] and hairspray. i roll my bangs and victory rolls around two or three depending on how big i want them and pin. :D

  • layla says:

My curly hair looks awesome when its been naturally air dried. I find the heat from a hair dryer just makes my hair limp. (unless of course i’m blow drying it straight) :D

  • Eve says:

when my hair is not a frizzy messss.

  • Ann C says:

Humidity and my hair don’t mix; so my hair prefers a day when it’s cooler and less humid.

  • Fernanda R Andrade says:

Certainlly is wen I don’t need a goodo hair! That day I intend to stay in bed, my hair always surprise me looking as gorgeous as when I make it in the saloon!

  • styleezta says:

Great conditioner! I love it when my hair is soft :D

  • Nelly says:

I love each time i condition my hair coz i temporarily get rid of frizziness and breakage.

  • Anastasia says:

    Kerastase Nutritive Bain Satin Shampoo

  • Well … clean hair starts things off right. And, of course, having a recent trim means everything is in the right place. Then, if there is low humidity … I’m in great shape! Those are the elements of a good hair day for me! :)

  • My hair looks great when I’m near the sea :)

  • tpzhearts says:

the ideal weather for my hair is cool (no humidity at all) with a very very slight breeze, not enough to mess it up but enough to keep me from sweating.

  • ter says:

When the moon is in the 7th house & Jupiter alligns with Mars…oh wait…that’s a song! Ok so when the sun is in the eastern sky on the 4th Saturday of the month that ends in “y” at the 5th hour of the day when it’s not snowing with a low barometric pressure & my houswe is clean….my hair looks it’s best & I’m having a good hair day!

  • adrian says:

Low humidity works out best! Thanks for the chance!

  • Camille says:

My hair looks good the day that I wash it. I’m not a fan of days-old style.

  • Shannon says:

  • Lisa says:

A trip to my favorite hair stylist :P

  • Karrie says:

Blow drying my hair always makes my hair look better than letting it air dry.

  • Lizzard says:

I really love my Chi straightener, even if i only use it on the top half of my head, it perfects my hair :)

  • hofken says:

One thing that gives me a good hair day is my silk pillowcase

    cynthia.Richardson@azbar.org

  • Audrey H. says:

Lately, the only thing that give me a good hair days are hair bands, just the simple ‘rubber’ bands, covered in material to put my hair up and out of my face. It’s just so warm not only does my hair look kinda lousy but my long hair is like a blanket on my neck lol

  • Ellen says:

Really, only during the winter do I have really good hair days. During the summer it tends to be frizzy.

  • Steph says:

In the summer, when everyone is relaxed my hair, along with some B&B surf spray, is wavy and perfectly tousled-and incredibly healthy without my overuse of styling tools!
