i once waited an hour and a half before the doors opened at makeup sale ( it was a cold winters morning) to make sure i got my hands on mac lipsticks. They are always the first to go at one of these sales.
I got a male friend who was on holiday in the US to haul me back some pretty Laura Mercier face palettes and foundation to Australia.
He thought I was a nutcase making him buy women products lol.
I check MANY different websites to see what they have in stock/prices.
The most extreme thing I’ve done was to buy the exact same magazine three times to get a benefit lipgloss that was given away full size with it, just to get the color I wanted.
I check out different websites. several, several different websites. If there;s something I want and I cant get it in person, I will become obsessed until I can find a place to get it!!
Nothing else to consider as crazy lol Making the staff in the store call other locations to find the product, I guess
I search all the stores in my area (which can sometimes be a lot) until I find it.
I have gone to 30 stores in one day trying to find Sally Hansen’s nailpolish “Hidden Treasure”! Would you believe I STILL haven’t found it? I know it was 30 cuz my daughter counted!
Going to a lot of stores to check which one has it !!
The most extreme thing I’ve done to track down a makeup purchase is to resort to ebay for Giorgio Armani foundation
I ordered some hard to find makeups over ebay that are twice as much at it’s original price!! And paid for international shipment!
i waited for 3 hours in line to get into the store. >_>
Day #5! I’ve gone drugstore hopping many a time. The worst is when you can see that a drugstore carries something you want, but it’s all sold out ;_;
I go to a bunch of stores in the same day back to back looking for a product
Please enter me in your giveaway. I’ve driven across two states to look for some MAC products. Insane! I also have my BFF checking drugstores on her way home from work for a certain nail polish. She had to keep checking at least 4 times a week at 5 different drugstores. Took 3 weeks till she found me Sally Hansen’s Hidden Treasure. Thankfully she also bought me a backup. She’s a doll!

I’m really new to the whole make up scene. You might not consider what I’ve done that outrageous. But, give me time…lol. I’ve always loved buying make up, but, only recently discovered websites such as this devoted to all things beauty, especially the tutorials. I love them! Anyhow, I spent THREE hours online last night looking for make up brushes. It was hard to decide. I went with a middle of the road set until I get better with my application techniques.
The very first thing I did when I got to Las Vegas (from Canada) was head to the outlet malls and stock up with amazing deals on MAC, Estee Lauder, Clinique, and oh so many other faves. Now when I go, I get LISTS from friends of what products they want me to bring back for them!
Another thing I did was search through 268 pages of Ebay for a limited edition lipstick (it was an international version). I remember the page number exactly because I was so awed at the fact that I could literally sit there for hours looking for a single lipstick! (Haha, I’m starting to run out of crazy things I did for makeup :])

the most extreme thing i have done to track down a makeup item is to convince my friend to buy me a eyeshadow at Sephora in New York during their honeymoon hahahaha
Call Bergdorf Goodman and get a phone order.
I bought 3 magazines which contained a full size benefit lipgloss free just to get the right color!
One of the most extreme things I’ve done was considering going to nearby country to get my hands on a product. I couldn’t do it in the end… but I really wanted to!
Going to the store very, very, very early in the morning…
Suggesting a vacation spot lol, but it always has to have a CCO nearby!
(#6) I’ve done pretty obscene amounts of internet research regarding products and where to find them.
The most extreme thing I’ve done to track down askeup purchase is to shop eBay.
I live in a small town and the mall here does not have any makeup counters that I care for so I have to drive almost an hour away to buy the makeup that I want. Sephora, Ulta, and makeup lines such as Benefit, Chanel, MAC, etc are all at least one hour away. I hate buying things online without seeing it in person first so the net is not really an option.
internet searches
The second I see it on your website and I think they may sell out, I call Sephora!
Like some earlier entries, resorting to ebay to find a limited time product that had expired and wasn’t going to return to stores for at least a year.
the most extreme thing i have done to track down a makeup item is to convince my friend to buy me a eyeshadow at Sephora in New York during their honeymoon hahha
Waited from 7.55 to 8.00 for a Lush store in England to open, so I can purchase fresh face masks that they don’t sell in my country. But because of that, I missed my train and missed my flight… That has to be my most expensive face mask if all time.
I’ve gone to a lot of stores in one day to find what I was looking for !!
I bought 3 issues of the same magazine which contained a full size benefit lipgloss, just to get the right color (an apricot color)!
The most extreme thing that I’ve done is woken up at 7am to get onto a train and go to Toronto to get my hands on a Marine Life highlight powder when I only needed to be downtown at 6 pm
The most extreme thing I’ve done to track down a makeup purchase is to buy from eBay.
i applied and worked as a Sales Assistant for the company i really love before, so i can have and purchase all the make ups i´m dying to have…
I’ve had my best friend in another state ship the desired item to me.
Last day comment! On occasion, I’ve given up – but a RAOK came up and helped me out!
Second (and last review, since I don’t own any Tarte products but these!):

Last but not least, I remember forcing my mom to drive five hours to a beauty outlet with tons of discontinued items from the Lancome-owned brands. I was really excited since I think that was when I just started getting in to makeup (thus, missed all those discontinued items :])! Thanks mom :]] haha.
Plus my last reviews as well:

(whew, that was a total of 8 Tarte reviews this week =]] (and eight extra entries-yay!!))
I called in every day at the store to check to see if they had the product I wanted! -.-
I once drove to every mall in the area looking for a Stila palette, because I needed it “now”.
I watch eBay and other online stores to see when something on my wishlist is available and I purchase it as fast as I can. I recently spent over $100 in one go
