The first four shades are pigmented, smooth, really soft, and shimmery/frosty. Squeak is peachy beige. Â Bayli (my favorite) is a soft grey-brown. Ally Cat is also taupe, but it’s darker and more brown. “7″ is plum brown. As a matte, Taz is a little chalky; it’s a browned wine color. SMH shadows are $6 each, and they’re the same size as MAC’s eyeshadow pans.

These are gorgeous. I love how the SMH shadows always look sparkly but not overly so. They walk that fine line between “SFW” and “NSFW” and I love that!

Alley Cat is simply stunning! What great shades for fall! Gorgeous!!! I have never tried SMH shadows but the finish looks amazing! Great pigmentation! The shade Taz would make an awesome liner as well

I think that looks like a Dior quint! Beautiful colors – cool taupes and burgundy purples are my favorite. I’m impressed and now am tempted to order tons of SMH. Uh-oh!

I love SMH shadows so much. They have a buttery smooth texture, and the pigmentation just cannot be matched. The pack some serious punch, and they’re easy to blend. I have all of the original colors (thanks Karla!), but they were lacking in purples (not anymore!). I love taupes as well, so these new shades would be perfect for me!

Thank you so much for the swatches, Karla! These caught my eye as soon as they appeared on ACW! ACW describes “7″ as similar to Magnetic Fields, which I don’t have and really want. And “Taz” is supposed to be a cross of Sketch and Signed, Sealed (which I ALSO want), so I almost bought them right away. And any shade called pewter has me at “hello”. I’ve just been hoping they would be swatched somewhere. Thank you! And thanks for the code!!
