Just before I left for New York, I was so worried about Chanel’s new releases. Would I have time to swatch them while I was there? Probably not, and the distribution is so limited!
Thankfully I was able to call on the brilliant guest swatching of Estelle and Soaper1 — and as usual, they make everything look too good.
I was expecting to be most interested in Khaki Vert and Khaki Rose… but now that I’ve seen all three on Soaper1′s nails, Khaki Brun is actually my favorite (though Khaki Vert is right behind). Here are her swatches and review:
Chanel recently released Les Khakis de Chanel, a limited edition polish collection created by Global Creative Director of Chanel Makeup Peter Philips, in honor of Fashion Night Out. The three shades are Khaki Brun, Khaki Rose, and Khaki Vert, and all three are cremes.
Chanel’s official descriptions are: Khaki Brun, pale stony taupe; Khaki Rose, dusky pink-beige; and Khaki Vert, mossy foam green.
These polishes applied beautifully. They are just so smooth and creamy. They also wore very well. Each manicure is three coats of color with one coat of Poshe.
The polishes are $25 each, and the collection is currently available on Chanel.com and in select Chanel boutiques and department stores.
