Essie’s fall collection more or less coincided with New York Fashion Week this year, and the sartorially inspired release left me certain that Tim Gunn himself blessed the shades.
If you’ve been watching Project Runway this season — or if you have a natural instinct for fashion — you’ve already heard that military is in for fall (it’s a recurring theme). Essie’s muted, military green Sew Psyched is pretty perfectly on point, and is already attracting a lot of attention.
The whole collection is darkly sexy: complex, nuanced, exactly what I’m in the mood for for fall (my nails are ready, even if my wardrobe choices aren’t).
Essie polishes are $8 each, most readily found in Ulta and beauty supply stores like Trade Secrets.

we always have the same taste! I just got my Essie little cube in the mail today! i looove the colors, im not a polish addict. those are going to be the only colors i will be wearing this season along with Chanel Paradoxal. we always like the same exact things, cant get over it! Hugs
I saw this collection at my local beauty supply store yesterday when I went. I picked up Sew Psyched and Merino Cool. Sew Psyched btw is a good dupe for Chanel’s Khaki Vert.
These are nice. Haven’t decided which ones I’m picking up yet, but going by what Tina said I’ll have to at least get Sew Psyched since unlike Khaki Vert, that’s in my price range, heh.
