There’s been an explosion of lash enhancing products on the market, and this week’s prize is Talika Lipocils Expert ($55).
Talika has been an eye brand since 1948. Their first product was a salve for burn victims… which reportedly had the side effect of regrowing eyelashes. That original formula is the basis of all of Talika’s “regrowth” products.
Lipocils Expert promises to lengthen your lashes by up to 36%, darken them up to 50%, and curl them by up to 50% (how does one measure a percentage increase in curl?).
The applicator is a mascara spoolie topped by a doe’s foot wand (so you can apply the formula at the base of your lashes, and comb through to condition them. The product should be applied twice a day for at least 28 days.

Yes! Talika and Ardell – no rx though. But my favourite was definitely Talika – not because it made my lashes “grow”, but it conditioned them SO nicely and made them healthier and better looking.
aww too bad i never try any of them
I actually tried the regular Talika lipocils – not the expert one. It actually made my lashes grow and conditioned them.
I’ve not yet tried any of these products; but I’m very curious about them!

I have never tried these kind of products but I’m very curious to do so!
I’ve only tried L’Oreal lash boosting serum. It’s not miracle worker, but it has filled in some gaps in my lash line
i haven’t used any of the lash enhancing products.. but am eagerly awaiting the loreal lash boosting serum to arrive at my local boots. (we get everything a few months/years late here in kuwait). It seems to have worked for quite a lot of people, and i’m eager to try it for myself
No, I’ve not tried any lash enhancers but want to.
I haven’t tried any yet, so I hope I’ll win this one!
I’d love to try this product!

I’ve been using Revitalash for about a year … my lashes look amazing … it really works!
Been using Goodlash Long Lash Repair for quite a few years now. And I feel that my lashes have lengthened quite a bit and I have lower lashes now! Volume-wise still a bit lacking but at least I have length.
I used the Lóreal one and did not really see any results, I really would like to try the real stuff!
I have tried the L’oreal serum, Cargo, Tarte, and castor oil.. nothing special with any of them.. would love to try the Talika Lipocils.. Thanks for the giveaway!!
I’ve tried Talika lipocils (on 2nd tube now) which definitely made my lashes look fuller with mascara on.
I had great success with Jan Marini before they changed their formula. Sadly, I cannot use the new prescription version because I have sever glaucoma…in fact, I have nearly all of my vision in my right eye & I’m only 33.
the only ones i have tried are ardell and the one that was released recently by l’oreal. both of them came up with similar results: less fall out of lashes. by having my lashes fall out less often, it gave my lash line a fuller look… but alas, there was no thickening or lengthening…
I haven’t used any lash enhancers yet but I would really like to try one.
I haven’t used any HE ones but I really wanna try Silk Natural’s one but for now I use EVOO
I haven’t tried anything else than Ardell which I wrote about yesterday
I’ve tried Dream Lash by the Salon Shoppe and I thought it worked fine. Definitely lengthened my eyelashes but the applicator was cheap scratchy plastic. It also formed crust on my eyes overnight.
Then I most recently tried Talika’s regular Lipocils. I don’t think there’s any noticeable growth, but I think my lashes are more curled and probably slightly longer.
There’s also Shu Uemura’s Lash Repair which double as a mascara base as well as a lash repair thing. My eyelashes were stronger and didn’t fall off as frequently and I thought there was some lengthening but it was more obvious on the lower lashes.
there is also one by dermaglow. but, in general, dermaglow is ok at best. so i would imagine their lash enhancer is useless
I’ve used Lashfood and I say that it does work in the lengthening department but I really wanted more volume.
I’ve tried the Peter Thomas Roth lash regrowth product and noticed a little bit of length, but I would like more volume.
I have also read a lot about Revitalash…
Many thanks, Cindi
being 47 (eeeek) my lashes seem to be getting shorter lol
I’d love to try this

I haven’t used one yet but I’d like to!
I’d like to try Talika as I’ve heard lots of good things about it.
I havent tried any yet. But I’d love to try this one. To be honest I did not know these things existed
Not yet, but I do hope something works, cause my lashes are sad
I haven’t, many are really expensive and I was afraid of the discoloration, but would love to try the product without that side-effect, which woman wouldn’t want longer, thicker and more curled eyelashes:)
everyone tells me latisse is the way to go, but that could be due to good marketing. i want to try one, but im still not sure which. the side effects are a turn off for me
I’ve never tried enhancing products before but I would love to try them because I have the short and very thin eyelashes!
I don’t think Peter Thomas Roth is worth it’s price.
I have previously tried the L’oreal lash boosting serum and its not bad for the price! i found that my lashes were slightly thicker, although i wouldnt say it got longer. However, the best part was that my lashes seem to be healthier and i had much less fallout when removing makeup! Unfortunately, i have yet to test out any other products.. but it would be something i am very interested in because i have stubby, straight asian lashes!
Another lash enhancer that I have studied is called “Enormous Lash!”
Thanks, Cindi
I haven’t tried any other enhancer except the Ardell. But I would love to try Talika as it is supposed to be miraculous
Revlon had a lash growth serum out too not too long ago…Renewal Lash Serum. That would be interesting especially with a more affordable price tag.
I haven’t tried any yet, but they sound awesome, and I would really like to give one a try.
i like olive oil!
I haven’t tried any yet but talika and revitalash have both gotten me intrigued. I always tried to find the ardell ones at my local drugstores but they never seem to have them. I’d love longer, lush lashes!
I’ve tried coating eyelashes with avocado oil and it’s really nutritious for them, they become stronger and more glossy!
I have never ever tried any of these lash enhancers, but I always use lengthening and volumizing mascaras as I have short and straight lashes. I knew only about Lilash before, which is too pricy for me. Now I checked Talika Lipocils Expert, and it costs only one third of the Lilash! But still I would like to win this one better than try to haunt for an e-shop which would ship it to my country!
I really want to try Jan Marini’s one! The reformulated one is supposedly as good as the old one with the ‘bad’ peptoglycins (sp?).
I have tried only the Ardell, did not really soaw a big difference
I’m currently using Ardell. Although there isn’t any dramatic change so far, I’d say there has been a slight improvement in the condition of my lashes.
I haven’t used one yet, but I’d really like to!
Haven’t tried any of them and would love to!
Latisse is another enhancer I have looked into.
Many thanks, Cindi
Would love to try! Haven’t used in the past
