MAC Tartan Tale: MAC Store Exclusive Mineralize Kits

Yesterday we saw swatches of the Nordstrom-exclusive mineralize kit (The Swinging Violets). Today I have the two MAC store/MAC website exclusive kits: My Scottish Fling and Glamorous.

Like the Nordstrom kit, these are packaged in a metal pencil case for $49.50 each. My Scottish Fling includes Pink Split mineralize eyeshadow duo, Fresco Rose paint pot, Budding Romance lipglass (a repromote from forever-ago), and a mini Zoom Lash mascara. Glamorous contains Noble Touch eyeshadow duo (new), Indianwood paint pot, Blessedly Rich lipglass (also new, though it sort of looks like Enchantress), and a mini Zoom Lash mascara.

    Hi Karla!

Can you tell me how similar Noble Touch is to Engaging mineralize eyeshadow? It looks pretty similar in the swatch. (You didn’t take a picture of the actual product did you?) I really want is as I love and collect Mac MES, but not sure if it’s worth buying the whole kit if it’s very similar to Engaging. Many thanks!

Anitacska, you are a genius. I knew when I swatched it that Noble Touch reminded me of something, and I couldn’t put my finger on what. It is very similar to Engaging.

Thank you! I was wondering if it was just renamed, because half the collection details I’ve seen said the kit contained Engaging and half said Noble Touch, and your swatch just confirmed this! Yay, now I can rest in the knowledge that I’m not missing out on another MES. :D A xxx
