Tom Ford fans, prepare yourselves. Mr. Ford (& co.) has prepared a few magical treats for this most wonderful time of the year.
First up (and girliest), the Black Orchid set. For $140 you will receive Black Orchid in solid perfume form, Black Orchid lipstick (the only time a Tom Ford lipstick will appear in a black case instead of white), and Mr. Ford’s first ever nail polish, Black Orchid. The promotional pictures of this set are so pretty and glossy, but my counter has 
the real deal in stock, and I thought it would be useful to see the scale. Â Also the sales associate is wearing Black Orchid nail polish (and as always, you can click to view the images at full size).
Tom Ford candles are also coming back this year (still limited edition for holiday). Look for the return of Tobacco Vanille and Oud Wood — and the debut of Tuscan Leather! Tom Ford candles are $85 each and burn for up to 30 hours.
And finally, there’s the Tuscan Leather set. This gift set includes an 250 ml decanter of the EDP, a 100 ml EDP spray, a candle, an atomizer, a funnel, and a Makassar-wood-style tray. It is $975.
Tuscan Leather is Mr. Ford’s take on a classic leather scent. According to the brand, “it opens with notes of saffron and thyme, mixing leather with hints of raspberry.
“A provocative chypre blend of olibanum and jasmine forms a center of rich, smoked spices and herbs. The authenticity of the leather deepens as it picks up the woody base of amberwood for a rich, sensual finish.”

I liked the look of the nail polish in some of the previous pictures I’ve seen, but not so much in these images. Which is good- I wasn’t about to dish out $140 to try a nail polish! I’m definitely glad to finally see a real pic of it.
I got the Tom Ford set and he signed it and its even better in person, the compact is amazing and solids are nice they last. His polish is high quality, I tried it on one hand and it stayed on for 3 weeks w/o chipping….
The lipstick case is actually changing from the current white case to the black case pictured above for the entire Private Blend Lip Color collection in 2011.
