My holiday plans are low key. We will travel to see family – a short road trip. I will keep it simple with some of my Bobbi Brown shadows and creamy lip color because they are easy and versatile.

My holiday plan is to have my 2 yr old daughter help put up our Xmas decoration. I am hoping to make this a tradition and get her to appreciate family time early on.

One of my holiday plans is to take a week-long Mexican Riviera cruise with my whole family. Honestly, I plan to wear as little makeup as possible (the “ugly American”). Oh ok, on formal night, I’ll get gussied up with the full face (Giorgio Armani foundation, Nars blush, Laura Mercier mascara and Dior eyeshadows).

My holidays are always fairly boring since only my direct family lives in the state. We usually sit around and watch A Christmas Story whenever it’s on TV. I’m thinking green smokey eyes with pink/gold lips.

I’m going to a family thing in Albuquerque. I’ll probably wear Benefit’s Sunday Funday palette because it’s very travel-friendly. I’ll also bring the purple eyeliner from MAC’s feline release. I love the wet-look liquid with the felt tip applicator. It’s very user-friendly & lasts forever.

Always with the family for the holidays, no vacation!! I will use dark purple and golds for my eyes and light pink for my cheeks (my new fave)…but definitely lots of shimmer and glitter on my cheekbones and my favorite mix for lip colors; Lancome lip products La Laque gloss in digital berry as a base with Timeless Color Design cream lipstick layered over.

I’m planning to go for a ski/snowboard trip with the friends. Generally I don’t bring too much make up, just MAC mineralized skinfinish, eyeliner and lip balm for when I’m not on the slopes.
I always want to do a berry lip with a champagne/shimmery white eye, like a snow queen type look. Maybe I’ll actually do it this year.
For Christmas, my uncle is also throwing his wedding dinner since it’s so hard to get the whole family together. I’ll probably go for something sophisticated – a bold red berry lip (this lipstick would be perfect!

for Christmas which is also my BIRTHDAY, I’m going to wear an antique gold/dark olive green eye makeup with winged liner and lots of mascara and possibly individual lashes. I’ll go for natural but polished skin, and Shiseido Automatic Lip Crayon #2 … but I probably won’t get around to any of that until after 4:00 .. and if I get any new goodies, that will probably derail my plan!

For the holiday season, I will be hosting the entire time. I’ll be wearing a classic holiday red lip and gold shimmery eye, changed up with smokey bronzy eyes and neutral eyes.
I will be spending quality time with my husband this holiday season! He is in the Navy and was at sea last year so I was all by myself in a brand new town and was miserable. I am def planning on attending midnight mass on Christmas so my makeup will not be super flashy but my nails will probably be quite festive!

For New Year’s Eve I’m planning a smokey eye/nudey lips combination, with a touch of glitter on the eyes, just have to try on a couple of looks before I decide the definite one!

So I commented yesterday that I’d be wearing and experimenting with my brand new ELF mini-makeup kit. I tried swatching it in the middle of the night after I woke up at 1:30 am, and though, hell, why don’t I just swatch it and share it here; the quality was much better than I expected to be (I am prejudiced against low prices.) The blush/bronze duo in particular closely mimic two much pricier, hyped blushes. So-swatching!
I’ll have a vacantion with my family and because I have an one years old daughter my make-up would be as simple as posible,but in pink anyways ,my favourite colours.
I’ll be wearing purple smokey eyes for a play this christmas. will match it with my eggplant costume. play’s entitled, “a veggie merry christmas”. neat, huh?
We will spend Christmas at home, just hubby, the children and me, so I’ll probably not do anything too glam, but thinking maybe some green and gold eyeshadows for Christmas day anyway.
