Guest Swatcher: Konad with Nina Out of the Blue and China Glaze OMG

Check out this fun manicure from Soaper1. This woman is so endlessly creative with her nails.

I had some extra time to do a manicure one night, and when that happens, I like to stamp my nails.

I’d seen some manicures that used China Glaze OMG for an image stamp. I’ve used this polish as a regular manicure before, and the formula is a bit thin. Most great stamping polishes are thick and opaque, so I wouldn’t have thought to reach for OMG on my own, but it works beautifully.

The base for this manicure is Nina Ultra Pro in Out of the Blue, a very dark, navy blue shimmer. The brush on the Nina polish was a bit wonky and I ended up having to do a lot of clean up with this manicure. The image is from Bundle Monster plate BM07.

Unfortunately, my manicure didn’t really wear very well. I had tip wear the next day. Nevertheless, I loved the combination of blue shimmer and silver holo. Nina Ultra Pro polishes are available at Sally Beauty Supply for $3.99. The Bundle Monster plates are available through amazon.com. The set is 21 plates and retails for $17.99 (free shipping). The set does not include a stamper and scraper. If you don’t already have those, you’ll need to purchase them separately.
