Karla – I found a quote once that read “Christmas stalkings used to be filled with 5 presents, one for each of the senses” That year, I went out and bought beautiful stockings for everyone and filled with 5 presents …one for each of the senses! I had perfumes (small), lotions (touch), candies/cookies, socks, games, etc. it was really great and really fun!
One of my favourite gifts that I gave my best friend was a steampunk style necklace that I bought from a girl who hand-makes them. It had a real, small watch (only the mechanical part) hanging on the small chain, dressed down to its full nakedness.
You could see the small pieces connect and work. She adored it.
My favorite present that I’ve received was 3 years ago. My new voyfriend was really going out of his way to impress me and every single present was beauty related! I got a Too Faced eye pallet, Angel perfume, $50 Sephora gift card, BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom set. It was amazing!
The best gift I received was the brand new Kelly doll (barbies little sister ) that launched 10-12 years ago. I wanted it soooooooooooo badly and was so happy when I finally got it!

my best christmas gift was a digital camera from my parents which has captured all of my memories and made me realise my passion for photography.
2 years ago, instead of buying each other various gifts, my fiance and I put our holiday money together and bought a great flatscreen tv – we love it, we use it almost everyday, it’s the gift that keeps on giving!
I think it’s all about the atmosphere!
Where we live, we get our presents at Christmas Eve. So, when it gets dark, my brother, sister and our grandma go up to our rooms. My parents set up the presents under the Christmas tree (of course, when we were younger, Santa did that job!)
When everything was set, they would ring our little “Christmas bell” – everyone in our room was huddled together, completely silent, waiting for that bell!
When we came down, only the lights on the Christmas tree were on.
The packaging is really important, too – I remember when our mom put all our presents in a huge Santa bag!
If someone doesn’t have a lot of money to spend, we give each other little things. Last year, my sister gave me an “emergency set” for my hands – a little lotion, a file, cuticle oil and some nail “repair patches”.

okay, this is going to sound so silly but my favorite christmas gift was my mom letting me get my ears pierced when i was 9 years old. i had been begging to get my ears pierced for years but she told me i had to wait until i was older. i would buy earrings and beg her to let me get my ears pierced so i could finally wear them. but nope, i had to wait until i was old enough to take care of them. so on christmas she made a little puzzle to fill out, and then at the end it told me that i could get my ears pierced. i was so excited that i cried lol. silly i know, but i was 9 years old! hehe. anyway, thats it! hope u enjoyed reading this! hope i win hehehe.
The best Christmas gift I remember was when I booked a horseback riding afternoon for a girlfriend who had never ridden.
I told her to dress casual and took her to a horse stable. When she realized what I was doing, the look on her face was priceless.

The best gift I got was from my husband while he was deployed. I received a package in the mail that contained some of the most beautiful things I have ever gotten. He remembered that my favorite bird is the peacock, so he sent me a gold plate that had two peacocks on it, a beautiful jeweled peacock that has a hidden compartment, and the prettiest gold heart shaped necklace with diamonds that I have ever seen. It truly brought tears to my eyes.

In 6th grade, Santa got me a whole new bedroom furniture set – you can imagine how surprising and exiting that is for an 11 year old girl!

My favorite holiday gift was the laptop I got for my mom last Christmas. She had been wanting one for years, since she only had access to Webtv. It was the best investment ever, because now she’s able to see all the pretty websites with Flash, etc. And she plays all her Slot Machine games, which makes her very happy.
My favourite gift was a LUSH set, with soaps, shampoo, bath ballistics, massage bars, lip balms, bubble bars…!!!
I loved it because I don’t have any LUSH store near were I live, and I was eager to try the natural cosmetics of this brand.

The best gift I gotten is between the cupcake book by Martha Stewart (which I’ve used many many recipes from) and the Cuisinart Rice Cooker/Steamer which serves me rice and steamed vegetable on a weekly basis!
My fave gift ever was a bottle of perfume: L’Interdit by Givenchy. The history of the perfume is very special to me, because it was Audrey Hepburn’s perfume and she’s my style/beauty icon!
One of the best gifts I have ever given was a Moleskine Wine Journal to my husband. He loves wines and he was always thinking of a way to remember his faves. When he opened it he lit up and he’s been using it since. I think I might even have to buy another this year for next year’s worth of wine!
My favorite gift i got for christmas was when my bf gave me a mac 187 brush,, he asked his sister to buy it in denmark because we don´t have MAC store here in Faroe Islands!!

When I was 10, I told my dad I wanted oil paints for Christmas. He didn’t have the time to go shopping before, so he had to rush, on Christmas eve. All the stores were closed so he went from store to store all around the city, and finally found one that was open, and got me a 12 tube starter set.
I have a lot of them left but I haven’t used them after my dad passed, so that I can keep them as they are, as mementos. I have a lot of memories with my dad and gifts; he was really quiet and didn’t connect with us much but he’d show his love through these little things.
I think I was around 14-15 and I got a hot pink bike. My dad give it to me, and I like it, because I always wanted to go riding.

The best gift I ever recieved was from my best friend for my 20th. She got me a whole heap of tatty teddy stuff (yes i’m a bit obsessed… but they are so cute!) but she also got me a 1kg tub of Clouds (lollies). I used to eat them all the time and then they stopped being stocked! So it was really funny and cute of her to remember how much I loved them and to buy me so many!
