Anne Hathaway, Movie Premiere

Anne Hathaway, Love and Other Drugs, New York premiereAnne Hathaway is still making the rounds, promoting her latest movie, Love and Other Drugs. I got the makeup breakdown for her look at the New York premiere, so let’s discuss. (Or click here to revisit her look from the Los Angeles premiere.)

Chanel Celebrity Makeup Artist Kate Lee said, “Annie wore a gorgeous winter-white gown, with lace and feathers and a big bow at the neck. When I saw the dress, I knew the makeup needed to be beautiful but approachable.”

Here’s what Kate used:

Chanel Hydramax + Active Serum (to prep)
Chanel Hydramax + Active Lip Care (on her lips)
Chanel Vitalumiere Fluid Makeup (Kate added that Anne’s skin is perfect, but this foundation makes the skin look milky and soft, has great staying power, and is never dry or flaky)
Laura Mercier creme blush in Praline (a neutral peachy nude)

Nars Thebes creme eyeshadow duo (a mixture of the gold and silver creme shades on the lids)
Chanel Eclat Lumiere in Beige Rose (brow bone, inner corners of the eyes, and lower outer corner of the eyes)
Shiseido black liquid eyeliner (to make a thin line right on her lash line. Kate did not wing the liner out past the end of Anne’s natural lashes, though she did end in sharp upward points.)
Matte black shadow (brand unknown) on the outer corners (on top of the liquid liner) to soften the line
Curl the lashes
Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir
Clusters of feathery strip lashes
Anastasia Brow powder and setting gel

Chanel Ultra Wear Lip Colour in Cristal Rose (new for Spring, not available until January!)

This seems like a different look that usual for Anne – I feel like I always see her with red lips. I really like it!
