As I swatched Yash matte lipstick from Mickey Contractor, I couldn’t help feeling that the color was familiar. So I went through a MAC display and pulled every color I thought might be similar for a comparison.
Of course, there’s some difference in finish. Hug Me (a lustre) will be more sheer, and have a glossier finish. Blankety and Half ‘n’ Half (amplified cremes) will be creamier and have more shine than the mattes.
I think Cherish is the closest, in terms of color. It’s just a bit lighter and peachier than Yash.

I think it’s more like Velvet Teddy.
If you’re looking for a similar dupe for Mehr, try MAC’s “Twig.” The only difference is the finish: Twig is satin, Mehr is matte.

I know you might not be able to answer this question, but how close do you think Yash is to Edward Bess’s Sundown? I remember you swatched his entire line awhile ago, and Sundown is pretty much the only nude I own – just wondering how the two compare.

I purchased 3 tubes of Yash because i absolutely love it and i know some things are similar to it but I’d rather just have it. although i would be interested in seeing Mehr swatched against colors that are similar to it. thanks for the lovely swacthes.
