Estee Lauder & Harper’s Bazaar: Fabulous at Every Age

Estee Lauder, Fabulous at Any AgeHere is a contest I would really like to win: Harper’s Bazaar and Estee Lauder have teamed up to find women who are Fabulous at [Any] Age.

My lack of fashion sense is probably going to keep me from victory, but I figure some of you lovely ladies probably have a chance.

Here’s the scoop: Harper’s and Estee are looking for the five chicest women (one in her 20s, one in her 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s). Personal style is key, and they’re looking for age-appropriate.

Nominate yourself or someone you know at — you have to submit one close-up, full-color face photo, and three full-body photos. All photos must have been taken in the last 365 days. You also have to write no more than 50 words on why you (or your nominee) is fabulous at her age. Five finalists — one from each age group — will each win $5,000 and be honored at a party hosted by Elizabeth Hurley.

One grand prize winner (selected from the 5 finalists), will receive an additional $5,000.

In honor of the contest, Estee Lauder is selling a limited edition “Fabulous at Every Age” lipstick and gloss (which will look good on women of every age): Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Bitten Fig ($24) and Pure Color Gloss in Red Tango ($20). These will be available exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue stores nationwide, as well as on and At some Saks locations, if you buy either the lipstick or gloss, you’ll also receive the white case in the photo for free. (I’m not sure which stores; you’ll have to ask at yours.)

You have until February 25th to enter, so snap those cute outfit photos!

I’m very sorry, Linda, but this contest ran a year ago. If Harpers and Estee Lauder do it again, I’ll post about it.
