The set includes the Pink Peony Illuminating Bronzer (looks like a blush; named “bronzer” on account of its packaging), Pink Lilac Brightening Gloss, Black Mauve Long-Wear Gel Liner, two brushes (face blender and ultra fine eye liner), and a makeup case.
The “real” Peony & Python collection is all about the spring/summer runway trends. Bobbi says peonies are her favorite flower, and they inspired her “lush, delicate, decadent” eyeshadow palette. I believe the shades are: Opal (Shimmer Wash), Cool Ivory, Lavender (Metallic), Cobra (Shimmer Wash), Plum Orchid (which Bobbi has said is her richest purple ever), and Eclipse.
Bobbi has done the makeup for Tibi for the last three seasons, and this collection was, in some ways, a collaboration. The python print on the eyeshadow palette and on the makeup bag was designed by Tibi’s Amy Smilovic.
I just want to point out that the lipgloss in this collection is not the same shade as the one in the Neiman Marcus set. Aaaaand there’s a new mascara formula! Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening is (as you might have guessed), a lengthening mascara that’s also supposed to be smudge-proof, conditioning, and clump-free. Black is permanent; Plum is limited edition.
This was the Tibi runway look, and before you critique it, bear in mind (1) it’s strangely lit, (2) things that look weird backstage look awesome on the runway (bright lights, seen from a distance). You have to translate a runway look before you’d wear it out on the street.
