Estee Lauder Wild Blue

Last week I swatched Estee Lauder’s new nail polishes, including the eight limited edition shades that are exclusive to Nordstrom. Well, I couldn’t resist Wild Blue, and I have been getting SO much attention wearing it.

I also (rather hilariously) discovered it’s almost exactly the same color as the Nordstrom handicapped exit button. (Indoor, evening photo.)

Estee Lauder polishes are $19 each. Wild Blue is very nearly opaque in one coat, but I painted two because I can’t help myself.

love how vivid the color is…can you give us a report on how long it holds up?

I’d be happy to, but you should know I’m a topcoat-aholic (addicted to shine), and my combination of Seche Vite + “refresher” topcoat Color Club Vivid can make anything last for a week without chipping. I wrote about my nail ritual (plus took a photo of Vivid) here: http://karlasugar.net/2011/02/nail-ritual-revisited/

That looks stunning on you, I can understand the comments as it’s gorgeous (plus you have really nice nails). I am looking forward to seeing this collection as the quality/colours look impressive.
