Because I was one of Aveda’s Water Warriors this year, the company asked me to name my favorite products of theirs — and then they offered to donate them for a blog giveaway. Thank you, Aveda!
Unfortunately, this giveaway is only open to readers in the U.S.
One winner will receive full sizes of:
- Be Curly Style Prep
- Smooth Infusion Style Prep (just covering all bases in case the winner isn’t a curly girl… or is an ambi-styler)
- Hand Relief
- Foot Relief
(Prize package value: $88)
To enter the giveaway, you must either follow Aveda on Twitter (@Aveda) and/or Facebook (facebook.com/Aveda). Then leave a comment on this post, stating (1) what country you’re in, (2) whether you follow Aveda on Twitter or Facebook (or both), and (3) one “green” thing you do regularly.
You can earn a bonus entry by participating in the forum at Talk and telling me your username there.
This sweepstakes begins today and ends Wednesday, May 18, at midnight (CDT). Winner will be randomly selected. You may enter once by each method. Additional entries beyond that will be discarded.

Hi!
I am from Russia and I follow Aveda on Twitter.
I don’t use plastic bags and usually go shopping with eco-bag and I also try to buy not a new product, but a refill for the old one: so there is less garbage.
I am a “fan” of Avedo on twitter and I started a green initiative at my cosmetology school. We now recycle everything from used foils to the plastic tops of color tubes.
I’m from the USA.
I am in the US, have liked Aveda on Facebook. I use cloth diapers on my baby.
I’m from the US, fan of Aveda on both Twitter and Facebook, and I try to recycle everything I can. I also save water bottle lids and bring them to my Aveda store, since the bottle caps have to be recycled differently.
I’m from the US & I ‘like’ Aveda on Facebook. To go green, I try to bring my own bags and when I can’t I definitely reuse all those plastic bags for all sorts of things!

I follow Aveda on Facebook. Live in US and i’ve been using reuseable ecobags when i go shopping (whether it’s to the ds for makeup or grocery!). got addicted to doing this when i was in Japan for a short while (plastic bag at the grocers was 5yen and they almost never give you unless you specifically ask for it!) and now i love this system! less plastic bags cluttering up my room every time i’m done shopping. plus, the le Sportsac tote (that can zip itself up into a small pouch!!) that i got free from the Le Sportsac japanese Mook (bought from Kinokuniya, it’s actually from like 2 months ago but i noticed in US kino seems to be really behind on stocking the new magazines, not to mention keeps the older ones around longer) is a LOT cuter to tote around than a plastic bag.
