Sneak Peek: Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation and Concealer Compact

Guerlain, Lingerie de Peau Foundation Concealer compactThis September, Guerlain will be bringing a new Lingerie de Peau compact to counter: a powder foundation/cream concealer duo (which, if you find your shade, seems like a great thing to travel with).

Everything about the formula of these products sounds state-of-the-art. The foundation incorporates natural fibers (silk and linen, which blend into the skin) with synthetic polymers that stretch and move with you for lasting coverage. The formula also contains hyaluronic acid (for moisture), light-reflecting pigments, and SPF 20/PA+.

In the lighter shades, the concealer is more yellow (to cover blue circles); in the olive shades, the concealer is more apricot.

The compact will be $70, and will launch in six shades:
02 Beige Clair
03 Beige Naturel
04 Beige Moyen
05 Beige Foncé
12 Rose Clair
13 Rose Naturel

Guerlain, OrchideeIf you’re a Guerlain skincare fan, there are two more products to watch out for in September. The first is Orchidee Imperiale Longevity Concentrate ($490). I’m not completely fluent in the Orchidee line, but this product contains a new generation Imperial Orchid Molecular Extract. It smooths and tightens skin, reduces signs of aging (reduces wrinkles, improves firmness, density, radiance, and pores). With use, skin becomes finer and more even.

Guerlain, Abeille RoyaleThere’s also the new Abeille Royale Uplifting Eye Care ($120). This ultra-lifting formula contains honey and royal jelly to fight micro-tears in the skin. Mamaku extract (from a fern in the South Pacific) firms the undereye area, and Terminalia Sericea extract fights puffiness. The result? More youthful-looking eyes, with plumper, more supple skin, and improved circulation.
