MAC has gone off the deep end. Their holiday collection is always extensive, but this year’s is the largest I’ve seen. I love the theme (Glitter & Ice), and the collaboration with figure skater Johnny Weir makes perfect sense — but my mind rejects the deluge of product options.
In order to control the madness, I thought I’d create this roadmap. As I swatch my way through, I’ll link each item to its corresponding post.

I think it’s just too much! And from what I’ve seen of the quality so far, a lot of it won’t be worth it. I really wish they’d cut their collections down a just make the ones they put out amazing. Quality over quantity MAC!!!

I have a feeling my favorite thing about this holiday launch is going to be the marketing pics from the campaign- love me some Johnny Wier!
This is why I gave up on MAC. Collection after collection is just too much for me. At least it’s sparkly for the snowy season!
The only thing I am looking forward to is the Snowglobe powder, and maybe a dazzle glass. Otherwise it’s a ridiculously large release. I also hate the fight to get what I want with MAC, always selling out. Such a pain :/
