Each boxed set is $32, and contains four polishes and a leaf ornament. The ornament is an actual electroplated leaf, so no two are exactly alike. (Or is that snowflakes?)
The Merry Metallics set (left) comes with a silver leaf; the All that Glitters set (right) comes with a gold leaf. Personally, I want to snip the ribbon off and wear one of these as a pendant.
Merry Metallics polishes include Lamé Entertain You, a slightly rosy taupe-brown frost (reminiscent of True Romance from Nordstrom’s anniversary set) with sparse silver micro-sparkles. Red-E and Waiting is a deep, warm red with deep-set orange, pink, and gold shimmers. Tarnished Silver is a cool grey-silver foil (microglitter that feels smooth). Plum Puddin’ is metallic lavender with tiny holographic sparkles.
The All That Glitters set includes Hot to Trot, a bright, saturated, warm red with deep-set pink sparkles. The eponymous All That Glitters polish is a cool-gold frost with sparse silver sparkles. Midnight Heron is deep blue shimmer. Spruce it up is deep green shimmer.
Do you love them both? A little bird told me that these two sets will be included in the 2011 BeautyBloggers.org charity auction.
