Every holiday collection from MAC contains a few special Viva Glam items. I adore the Viva Glam program: 100% of the purchase price of every VG item goes to AIDS charities (which means not only that MAC doesn’t make any profit from the sale of these items; they don’t even recoup the cost of production).
Thanks to Viva Glam, MAC is the largest non-pharmaceutical donor to the HIV/AIDS cause. Since the program’s inception in 1994, they’ve donated over $224 million.
And this year’s Viva Glam lip set is a sweet one: a red bag containing the limited edition Viva Glam Gaga and Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipsticks.
Viva Glam Gaga is a Lustre (sheer formula). It’s a medium-toned, very cool pink, which launched in February 2010 (along with Viva Glam Cyndi; click here for swatches and comparison swatches). It was available for one year.
Gaga 2 is an Amplified Creme, a very, very nude warm beige. This lipstick launched in February 2011 and is also one-year limited-life (click here for comparison swatches).

The Melt Your Heart lip bag is $36.
