Golden Globes 2012: Claire Danes

Claire Danes, Golden Globes, 2012Also batting for Team Red Lip at the 2012 Golden Globes (and wearing one of my favorite dresses of the night) was Claire Danes. Her dress was J. Mendel; her makeup was done by by Matin Maulawizada for Laura Mercier.

Matin started with Laura Mercier’s Foundation Primer and Creme Smooth Foundation in Sunny Beige. He used Secret Camouflage in SC3 under Claire’s eyes, and lightly applied Shimmer Bloc in Golden Mosaic to her cheekbones.

Matin used Tightline Cake Eyeliner in Black Ebony and Laura Mercier waterproof mascara.

Claire’s bold lips were achieved with Laura Mercier’s Creme Lip Color in Seduction. Finally, Matin set the look with Translucent Loose Setting Powder for a soft-focus effect.

Claire’s hair was styled by Peter Butler for Wella Professionals.

Claire Danes, Golden Globes, 2012Peter blew out Claire’s hair with Wella Professionals Extra Volume Mousse. Once completely dry, he curled her hair with a large barrel curling iron. He pulled the hair back into a high ponytail and wrapped it in a tight knot, secured with hairpins.

Peter combed Wella Professionals Mirror Polish Shine Serum through Claire’s hair with his fingers, giving it a soft sheen. He finished with a quick spritz of Wella Professionals Stay Essential hairspray.

This was my absolute favorite dress of the night! So stunning!
I liked, but didn’t love the makeup, though.
