Golden Globes 2012: Katharine McPhee

Katharine McPhee, Golden Globes, 2012Katharine McPhee looked amazing in her Donna Karan gown. Lauren Andersen for L’Oreal Paris did her makeup — we should all aspire to look this effortlessly fab.

Lauren started with Cle de Peau Beaute Refining Fluid Foundation SPF 24.

Katharine is actually wearing some of the same products as Dianna Agron: L’Oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Blush in Celestial on the apples of the cheeks, and Infallible eyeshadow in Iced Latte on the lids (blended into the crease for a sultry, warm smoky eye. No Vaseline, though).

Lauren delicately lined Katharine’s eyes with L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Brown, and followed with Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara.

Lauren used Dior Rouge Contour Lip Liner in Linen and L’Oreal Paris Infallible Gloss 8HR in Petal. She finished with YSL Poudre Sur Mesure (a neutral setting powder).

Katharine really looks fantastic, but can we all agree these heels are ridiculous?

I agree! She looks like she’s en pointe!

She looks great – but those shoes are ridiculous! They are painful to look at!

  • Evelyn says:

All I can think of is how incredibly painful those shoes must be. That’s quite an unnatural angle for a foot.

  • Eleanor says:

She looks great. But how does she keep those shoes on? Looks like the should just fall off!

  • maja says:

she looks as though her spine is broken or something…

  • Donna says:

Love the makeup and the dress, but the shoes would look much better if the heel was about an inch or a 1.5 inch shorter. Just my opinion, plus, I’m sure she would have had a lot more fun ☺

  • Katherine says:

I love a nude pump, but this is over the top. The blush is amazing.
