Readers, I have a thrilling giveaway this week. ghd is famous for their flat irons, and while I don’t use heat to style my hair, other reviewers have convinced me that ghd tools are the cream of the crop. (For what it’s worth, I did really like their hair care products, though the ones I used have been discontinued.)
Anyway, ghd’s latest (limited edition) offering is their Peacock Collection, three Gold Classic flat irons with plates, accents, and carrying pouch in jewel-tone green, blue, or purple. And they’re letting me give one away (!!).
One winner will receive a Peacock Collection flat iron (plus plate guard, heat-resistant carrying pouch, and a roll-mat — so you can safely set down your curler while you’re using it). The retail value of this prize is $225.
If you don’t win the contest, these curlers are available (with free shipping, of course) from Sephora.com and ghdhair.com.
To enter, please leave a comment on this post and tell me:
- What country you’re in.
- Your favorite hairstyle from ghd’s hairstyle inspiration page (post the link), and whether or not you feel confident you could recreate that look yourself.
Here are some of my faves:

This contest is open to readers in the U.S. and Canada. One winner will be selected at random from valid entries. ghd cannot ship the prize to a P.O. box.
This contest begins now and ends at midnight (Central Time) on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. You may enter once per day, additional entries will be discarded.
Winners will be contacted by email, so please use an email address you check (addresses will be hidden, and will not be used for any purpose other than contacting the winner). No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win this contest. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.
Good luck!

I love big, curly hair. It reminds me of my childhood dream to be a glamorous Disco queen. The long, curly style is perfect. http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/style-inspiration-curly-hair/long-curly-hair
I think I could pull off. I’d need extensions, as my hair is not that long.
1) Canada
2) I quite like this one from Demi Lovato, its got that effortlessly chic vibe which I love; it may take a bit of practice but I think I can recreate it

http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/style-inspiration-curly-hair/big-bouncy-curls are my favorite. When I was in college, I wore my hair similar to this. If I had my hair cut shorter, I think I could do this hairdo again.

2) I love the idea of big, voluminous hair, considering that I have bone straight hair with not a lot of volume. I would love to wear a look like this? http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/style-inspiration-blonde-hair/rita-ora

2. LOVE the Demi Lovato wavy, messy up-do! So pretty!

I kind of hate to admit it but I really love Kim Kardashian’s ponytail with the chains. I wish I could see what that is because I really want one now! I generally don’t like pulling my hair back but when I do it’s similar to this, with volume at the crown, so I am pretty sure I could do this with the right accessory.

2. With how hot it gets in Texas, I love this textured fishtail braid to keep my hair off my neck so I can stay cool. I think I can definitely recreate it – just gotta practice my technique so the braid doesn’t fall out! http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/festival-hairstyles/louise-bourgoin

2. I love the Dianna Agron look you posted because I’m all about braids right now. I think my favorite is the Louise Bourgoin fishtail braid, however, because it’s more casual for everyday. http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/s-s12-braid-trend/louise-bourgoin
US here. I love this Gertrude Olmstead one.
http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/vintage-inspiration-1920s/gertrude-olmstead
It’s soft, girly, & yet still elegant. I also love how shiny & healthy her hair looks, even though we all know it’s been through some serious styling to look like that. It almost seems to glow, doesn’t it?
My hair is much longer & being part Dominican, it is an entirely different texture & color, but I think I might be able to pull it off with the help of some video tutorials, high quality tools, & products!
1. USA.
2. http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/style-maverick-victoria-beckham/victoria-beckham33 I have straight hair and would love to be able to try to replicate this look for loose wavy curls.
Oooh I’ve been dying to wear romanticky curls like this one:
http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/13-on-the-13th/romantic-curls
I find it hard to do with my current flat iron, my hair just snags in it. I have the length and the volume to make it happen. Maybe the GHD will be the right tool for it?

2. My favorite hairstyle is the wavy hair. http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/no-trim-trends/kim-kardashian

I would totally rock this look
Its gorgeous, and definitely perfect for summer
Hi, I love your blog! I’m from Canada and I chose a loose, wavy look on Victoria Beckham. It’s the sort of look my hair would never do on it’s own, but that I could probably achieve with the iron you’re giving away!

My favorite is this look http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/patersonsa/inspiration-collection/mohican-style1
I think I could do it with a few modifications such as using small cornrows to imitate the look of a shaved side of the head.

USA. My favorite hairstyle is http://www.ghdhair.com/us/post/view/ghd/s-s12-braid-trend/louise-bourgoin …and I feel like with an extremely in-depth tutorial I could do it, but odds are good that my end results would not look as good.
