I have a whole slew of Sleek Palette swatches to show you (graciously provided by Becca of Subtle Like a Tank). So I thought we'd start with one you haven't seen yet on this blog: Jewels. Living up to its name, Jewels offers a rich selection of jeweltones for the eyes. Like the brand's other palettes in this series, the quality and pigmentation looks excellent. Jitterbug was part of China Glaze's recent Vintage Vixen collection (click here to see the full collection, plus links to Soaper1's swatches of the other shades). Though I think this gorgeous steel grey foil is too cool for my hands, I really like the way it looks on Soaper1. That silver microglitter is sexy. Dang, this polish is STUNNING. I was going to go pick one up at Ulta... but maybe I'll just bid at BeautyBloggers.org instead... Another fabulous drugstore find by Soaper1. I really can't think of another polish that has this color combination. Here's Soaper1's review: I recently discovered a new display of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polishes, and Mystic Lilac quickly caught my eye. Mystic Lilac is a muted, greyed purple with teal microglitter. Proof you don't have to spend a lot on a great manicure: another gorgeous red from Soaper1. I confess, I haven't tried much from Wet n Wild's nail polish line, but for $2, how could I go wrong? Wet n Wild recently released new shades in the Megalast line. The polishes are toluene, phthalate, and formaldehyde free. I'd seen the Confetti brand appear in my local CVS, but decided I couldn't buy until I'd heard Soaper1's report. Even though yellow-greens aren't my favorite, she does make this one look pretty great. Confetti is a relatively new line of polishes carried by CVS. They retail for $1.99, and each bottle contains .37 fl oz (most brands' bottles are .5 fl oz). They're made in the USA and are free of DBP, toluene and formaldehyde. Check out this fun manicure from Soaper1. This woman is so endlessly creative with her nails. I had some extra time to do a manicure one night, and when that happens, I like to stamp my nails. I’d seen some manicures that used China Glaze OMG for an image stamp. I’ve used this polish as a regular manicure before, and the formula is a bit thin. After a long and arduous quest, Soaper1 recently acquired a bottle. So you'll have to excuse us for wanting to show you a million pictures — a chance like this doesn't come around too often.
